Just getting caught up, but thinking of your cousin and family peachsmama, that is heartbreaking. Is her husband still in the hospital too? wineallthetime eek on family meeting involving all in-laws, hard pass on that. Sorry they are being ridiculous. He was discharged late last night. And was anle to spend time with her before heading home to the kids. Her kidneys are now starting to fail. They are starting dialysis. Her heart continues to fail and she is in respiratory distress. Oh my gosh, how did I miss that her H was admitted as well? Glad he discharged and got to spend time with her. Such a sad situation. |

He had a panic attack, passed out and hit his head. He's a recovering addict and they tried to give him zanex(not spelling that right) and my mom was very proud of him. He turned down everything offered. They got him a meal tray and made him stay for a while to calm down. |

wineallthetime If you had any doubts about ending your marriage, the in laws should help them go away real fast. My mind is blown that they wanted to be part of a conversation like that.

What a difference a good boss makes. When my MIL died and I worked at my old school, all I got was a nasty email about not signing off on something (that we had only that day to sign off on) because I wasn’t at work because I was at her funeral. Today first thing both my principal and vp stopped to give their condolences and see how I was doing. We still have no plans for a funeral because my aunt is still out of town. School is closed Monday and I’m allowed 4 days off so I could be home all next week if I want to be.

I found out this afternoon that it was a para who tested positive, not another student. So after much back and forth with evies teacher about my confusion, then talking to my dad and confirming evie would have had no direct contact with this person, she got to go camping!
What a day! We had tears, anger, then happiness. Im just glad it worked out for her, now just waiting on H to get home to decide what we will do.

Hey, low key day over here. H came home in a mood and I am not impressed. I think she needs an early bedtime. I have to work in the morning so I’m going to bed early. wineallthetime I’m just surprised she didn’t find some way of blaming this on you. Big fat nope to that family discussion. |

Who are these people and what is HONY? gusterHumans of New York. It’s on Facebook and Instagram and is now a book. It’s a series of (mostly) one off interviews and photos with people from NYC. They are usually very moving snippets of a person’s life. I don’t feel like I’m doing it justice, but if you can find it, you should. Some of the pieces are amazing. |

My parents tried that shit when it went down with my brother. I shut it down. Also blaming her for being so controlling of their money 🤦♀️ wineallthetime Oh geez, that's nuts. My in-laws want to sit down with MH and I to discuss the situation. No thank you. Not sitting down with you so you can beg me not to get divorced and throw every guilt trip my way. I've already gotten the, "Think about how hard this will be for the kids. It's easy to get divorced but it will ruin all your lives". LOL at “it’s easy to get divorced.” |

wineallthetime a few things: you and the kids will be fine and your H needed to think of the kids, she has no business putting that on YOU. Also, because MIL has an established record of overstepping, I would have it written into our parenting agreement (if you choose to separate) that no family members on either side will badmouth the other parent in the presence of the children. If his parents wish to continue to have a large degree of involvement with their grandkids, this is a non-negotiable. If you need/want to establish that boundary now, it’s okay to tell them that conversations about your decision WRT your marriage are not appreciated and need to stop.
