i just received the peloton clothing email. i went in. then i saw i could pre qualify for financing for a treadmill. sitting here wondering, can i afford an additional $120/month for 3 years..... hahaha I am just so lucky they don't offer the tread in Canada yet. Because I probably would have been sitting there doing the same damn thing

Leg day done. I seriously feel like I am walking through a pool of jello. It was all my favorite stuff, RDLs, glute bridges, squats. And my least favorite stuff, like lunges.
I’ve tried to different mod-ups this week and haven’t been able to do them (candlestick roll on the floor and plyo surrender squats). Old me would have been very self deprecating and feel ashamed and embarrassed. But I’m trying to have a new mind set, and it’s just another goal to work on. I hope I can get them by the end of the year. I think once my mid section shrinks a bit more it may be easier for me!

I am feeling a little worn down today from giving blood last night, so I really half assed my way though my work out today. I mostly just wanted to do it to keep the habit. I am going to make sure I eat enough today and hopefully I will be back on track tomorrow.

I did 3 treadmill miles - a couple with a Robin pop run and then another easy mile. My legs were heavy from yesterday’s boot camp so I kept it slowish.

H pulled the trigger last night and ordered a treadmill online. It's nothing special (~$400) but it will definitely help keep me on track and is what we could afford right now. Should be here in the next week or two. He is also gone until Saturday - so I won't be able to go out and run after putting my girls to bed. I may do some yoga this evening to try to unwind from distance learning.
B - Coffee with coconut milk, chicken pineapple sausage, refried beans L - Hopefully a big salad...if I am feeling lazy I might just have leftover veggie soup D - Leftover veggie soup

So we got the ideas for the smaller prizes for our fitness challenge- now we need bigger ones (like $75ish). Already planning to offer a FitBit.
Any awesome ideas? I think we need to just offer an option to pick multiple items from the smaller prizes too.

MH and I are thinking about getting a treadmill, too, although probably not the Peloton one (for now).

Leg day yesterday + tempo run today = OUCH. Hill intervals tomorrow = DOUBLE OUCH. Is some of this because you are combing multiple programs that aren't planned with the other in mind? Eh, not really. I know what's coming when. I was really just commenting on my soreness and impending more soreness.

I was really just commenting on my soreness and impending more soreness. If you are constantly sore, it's a programming issue. Or so I am told by the person that is jot trying to drive me into the ground with my training on a regular basis. With better programming has come far better recovery. Except when lunges are involved. They can still fuck themselves.

Wireless earbuds GC to local gym or yoga place GC to lululemon or fabletics Hydroflask and yeti mug Home weights if you can source any; bands too Yoga mat for stretching (or yoga, lol)

Finished week 8 of LIIFT 4 this morning. Now I’ll probably switch to peloton workouts for a bit. I’m not much of a runner, but do enjoy the 20-30 minutes runs and bootcamps. I refrained from snacking and drinking last night. Once I got over the initial “I want something” phase, I was fine.
B- banana oatmeal bake, eggs L- chicken apple sausage, sweet potato, avocado D- BLTs, sweet corn, asparagus. S- Fresh kettle corn the kids talked me into buying. Probably a glass of wine tonight.

Has anyone heard peloton is coming out with a rower? Dh told me that, but i haven’t looked into it. We have a water rower, which i don’t really ever use, so it would be nice to have some classes to get back into it.

slenle, it's been a rumour for a lonnnnng time but i don't see anything recent. they are on the cusp of releasing a lower cost treadmill and a more premium bike by the end of the year, so I would guess the rower is on the back burner for a bit

Hello, all. I plan to do some yoga tonight, possibly with DD1, as she expressed interest in it. I am making some carnitas in the IP which will take about an hour so I will have a window for at least a 30 minute, maybe 45 minute workout. Right now I’m doing my 15 minute lap at work. I may do more of these because my afternoon is looking pretty empty, but I have to stay clocked in. I already left early yesterday. Food is good. I’m making these carnitas bowls for dinner tonight, easy peasy. Instead of the yogurt dressing, I have some of Lillie’s cilantro ranch stuff. Ranch isn’t my favorite but I don’t mind a touch of this dressing. I may also make the skinny chipotle cream with Greek yogurt to add to it, I love that stuff. lillieeatsandtells.com/quick-and-healthy-crispy-carnitas-quinoa-bowl/

Not sure I'll get my workout in today. Worked from 5:30a - 2pm, currently at an appointment, then have to pick up H so we can go pick up his car from the mechanic. We have a food truck rodeo and summer concert tonight. Hopefully I can get in something quick in between the car pick up and concert.
B: Frittata L: Taco salad D: I think I'm going for the Cuban food truck. S: veggies and hummus

I think the earbuds and gym bag will go over well. Awesome. If anyone thinks of anything else, have at it.
It sucks that GCs are off the table because I need none of this stuff.

Hi all!! I’m a sporadic poster, but I’ve recently made working out and running a priority again. I’m just a much better person when I’m running, or at least active. My times and mileage are not impressive right now, but I’m focusing on consistency and then I’ll start working on more specific goals.
My only goal for this month is to finish the race I started on Yes.Fit - I have 47 miles left. It may prove to be a bit challenging because DH is gone all month for a work trip, so I’ll have to do my runs with the jogging stroller and 2 littles with the combined weight of 80-ish pounds.
Eventually I’ll need to clean up my diet, but I have zero motivation for that right now. Sugar is the real problem, I really don’t have any other vices, so I eat A LOT of crap 😬
