I did Matty's 20 minute interval run this morning and w2d3 of crush your core. Gah, ten minutes of nonstop ab work is really freaking hard for me. I've never been one for core work because I don't really carry weight in my midsection so my stomach typically looks decent if my weight is controlled. But man, I need it something fierce. Woof.
Food will be better today. I'm going to have eggs, turkey sausage, and a protein shake for breakfast, turkey sandwich and fruit for lunch, and homemade chili for dinner. I already planned to make it prior to the chili thread, but now I'm extra excited!
We did go pick some apples yesterday and we have way too many now, so the girls and I plan to make a pie tonight. So there is pie and ice cream on the menu too. Oh well.

track, track, track, track is the name of the game this week. i'm still having issues with late night binging and i need to switch to drinking tea or something.

Still going strong with morning yoga with dh. 30 min is nice to start the day together. I’m definitely feeling stronger and can see my quads are much more defined as well as shoulders. I did get in the scale and I’ve lost ten pounds so I’m going to have to keep an eye on that. Food has been good, dessert here and there but I love it. I made my favorite lime ice cream last night and can’t wait to have it later on. Little goes along way it’s so perfect:) I want a used treadmill so so bad but only place would be the basement and dh says I shouldn’t. I’m trying to figure out a way. 🤞🏻🤞🏻 Why does he say you shouldn’t? Not sure if it’s good to breathe in basement air I guess. It’s a few steps below grade so I don’t know if that matters. I do laundry down there every day but I guess it’s not long and I’m not huffing and puffing. I’ll ask again to see if there’s a way around it. I really want a used on. I wouldn’t spend a ton just to get some walks and hopefully runs in as the weather goes cold and I want to add to the daily yoga here and there.

Decided to switch from a 6 day running plan to a 5 day and use day 6 for cross training. It will be biking once that is actually assembled, guy is coming out a week from today. Believe it or not, I'm sticking with the lunge matrix and a modified version of that coach's post-run strength and mobility routine. I did a lot of reading this weekend and a lot of coaches use some variation of it.
Anyway, Monday will be cross training day, so today it was Turbo Fire - Fire 60, and P90X - Shoulders & Arms; Ab Ripper X.

I really truly don’t give a shit about a number on a scale but I’m grumpy about how my tighter workout pants are fitting/looking right now. I’m keeping my workouts consistent but slacking in the nutrition department. Today in bootcamp Jess mentioned something about if you’re asking more from your body you need to give it more [stretching, self care, nutrition, etc.] and I felt that in my bones. So I’m going to keep trying to fuel my body instead of feed my emotions. This is completely random but it’s been weighing on me a lot recently as the stressors in life seem to keep piling on. This is the reason I have added yoga at least 3 times a week to my schedule. I needed the stretch sooooo bad! Plus that calming effect on the mind.

We have a radon mitigation system but I think he isn’t thrilled at being down there just in case. I’ll revisit to see what he’s thinking.

Food:
B- oats, blueberries, caramel protein shake, L- general tsos chicken, broccoli S- apple and peanut butter D- chicken parm

I've had my treadmill in three different unfinished basements at this point, entirely below grade. Our first house was a 1931 cape with a very gnarly basement too. Super sketch. It's been fine.

I’ll figure out what he means.

This is me. I am going to sign up for the Peloton app. I desperately need stretching.

Also, I unfollowed my "friend" that sent me those shitass texts last week about run times. SURPRISE She is now training to run a half marathon when I am. I was in my feels over it, which is stupid. Anyone can run a half whenever they want. But she legit has texted me multiple times that she could never, and what a great goal it is for me, etc. So I'm annoyed that I am working up to run one on my 35th bday and now she is too and will for sure highlight her better time. Anyway, I don't get a lot out of my friendship with her. I unfollowed and will continue to kick ass for myself.

Good morning! Food is planned out for the day, I'm very excited for leftover grilled pork and roasted sweet potatoes for lunch. I had bought a rib roast and froze it months ago so I thawed it with the intention of smoking it this weekend. H ended up having plans yesterday so I deboned it and cut it into thick slices to be grilled instead with a dry rub. It was absolutely perfect.
Workout tonight hopefully with H, he's fun to work out with and it's nice to have someone to talk to.

I’m sorry your “friend” continues to be the worst apk4. I’m glad you’re cutting her off. One of the things I love about running is that you are really only in competition with yourself. Training for and running a half marathon is a huge accomplishment and you’re definitely kick ass!

Good morning, all. Today is a rest day for me, mostly due to my schedule, but also, I'm tired anyway. Food should be good. I stuck with my macros yesterday. I made a batch of the Trader Joe's 3-ingredient lentil salad to have for work snacks throughout the week. I ended up making crunch wraps for dinner last night instead of the enchiladas, so I will make the enchiladas tonight.
B- Jimmy dean delight croissant, coffee with creamer and collagen peptides
S- 200g lentil salad
L- Lillie apple cider dijon chicken tenderloins, air fried sweet potato fries, air fried broccoli with lemon
S- maybe a Starbucks iced tea lemonade
D- Lillie creamy chicken enchiladas with avocado
I have room for a snack/dessert but I don't know what I want yet! Maybe some of the gelato I have.
