Today would normally be a rest day but I’m feeling the pressure of hitting 100 miles this month so I ended up doing a 20 minute peloton run. It was Andy’s recent EDM run and it was trippy - he had you go on like a mind adventure and pretend you were running away from snakes or jumping over waves or whatever. It was...interesting lol. Anyway, I got 2.5 miles and now I’m off to my parents for a picnic!

I think I’ll be off running for a couple of days. My 2 year old dropped a full contigo water bottle on my big toe right where it meets my foot. It’s pretty bruised and hurts like a sonofabitch. I tried to at least get out for a power walk or light jog but it hurt too much. Not a big deal since I work this weekend anyway but I was really looking forward to sneaking away for a couple of runs. Food should be okay today. I kept breakfast and lunch super light so I can have some 4th of July fare tonight.

Bench day today. The weight I was using today was the same that I did at my meet in Dec.
4 sets of 3 that were stupid easy (today wasn't a max effort day). I think I finally found a good cue to help with my leg drive (that's a good thing for those smiling and nodding along). And this is in my loose shirt (so it's less supportive and I can do more when I put on the more supportive shirt- again a positive thing).
OMFG.

I did the grocery shopping today instead of MH so I managed to pick up a ton of fruit and healthy snacks which he usually doesn’t get enough of. I will work out later this evening and we’re having burgers for dinner so I managed to plan my WW points around that for the rest of the day. Food today: B - English muffin with butter L - Homemade miso soup D - burgers with slaw S - banana

Quick check in for me today. I am at work, and it's a rest day for me workout-wise. My core is feeling the workout yesterday, so I guess that's good. Tomorrow looks like 30 minutes of full body strength, and I am going to tack on a ride or two with that.
Food is decent today, although I am not really tracking. I had a Starbucks breakfast sandwich with a cocoa almond foam cold brew (it's really good, and pretty low calories), and lunch was leftovers from the other night. The place we went has this dish I love- rainbow trout with rice and pickled carrots. It's delicious.
Tonight I am making blackened mahi tacos with avocado crema. I am quite excited for those.

I did a plyometric workout today with lots of different types of squats jumps. I think my quads will be sore tomorrow. My leg feels ok from my run yesterday so I might try a slightly longer one tomorrow. My food has been pretty good up until after dinner- my quarantine project has apparently been perfecting margaritas. Just one, but one was enough!

budders that is really great and motivational. Friday was a rest day, yesterday we ran a 5k @ one of our local breweries. It did not go well. It was 94 degrees at the start. My first mile and a half were ok but then the heat just took over. For the first time, I took off my shirt and I ended up running in just my sports bra. I walked the rest of the race. I was just proud that I didn't quit, because a lot of people did. Afterward we came home and some friends came over and we spent the rest of the day floating in the pool, eating great food and watching my husband and his friends brew beer.

Good morning! I just did a 20 minute fun run with Jess Sims from pretty far back in the library. My body wasn't feeling a whole lot today, it felt hard, but I stayed on for an extra couple minutes and got 2 slow miles. Did a bit of stretching and now I'm done for the day.
The girls and I are going to my parents house for the week since DD1 goes to camp out there this week coming up. We have a bunch to do this morning before we leave, so not a ton of time for working out today. But my parents have a decent basement gym so I'll bring some of my stuff and workout there all week.
About to make a turkey sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. The rest of my food for today is a big question mark. All good though, whatever.

omg. today was rough too. i did mattys walk and run. i thought there'd be more walking but yea i was wrong. I did man up and gave 100% but i am spent.
I need to get in like 4 something miles tomorrow morning to stay on track for 100 miles this month. I plan on hydrating a lot today and eating yummy juicy fruits.
I went ham yesterday on food. Had a homemade beef strogonaff (sp?) for lunch followed up with burgers, baked beans and baked potatoes. So good.
Food this week is random since I start working from home. Tonight is grilled chicken sandwiches with grilled shrimp, broccoli and salad. Beef tenderloin with red potatoes tomorrow night Tacos, bbq chicken and probably out for wings.
Lunches are shaved steak sandwiches, Jamaican beef patties and leftovers.
I do plan on starting Andys strength program tomorrow.

I managed a very slow, hot 7 miles this morning. Last week was off for me and I didn’t get a lot of exercise or eat that great. This week I am going to hit it hard. Probably going to do strength and abs later and maybe a bike workout.

Yesterday I did the 30 minute All For One run and 15 minutes on the bike. We had ribs with mac and cheese for dinner last night and will probably have it again tonight. Plus birthday cake. So food is kind of a wash this weekend but I’m ok with that and will get back on track tomorrow.
Today I plan to do an upper body workout and hope to get a decent run in.

I wanted to keep my 17-day streak (thru yesterday) going and stretch out my legs so I did a quick 15 minute Classic Rock ride with Denis as an active recovery day.
Planning to pack a picnic to take on a long drive later today.

thatgolfb I’m jealous of your Mahi dinner tomorrow. Blackened Mahi is one of my all time favourites and it’s impossible to get here They turned out so good! And super healthy. I used the thin corn tortillas that Lillie always uses for her recipes, and they just had the mahi, chopped cabbage, pickled red onion, the avocado crema, and a little crumble of cotija. Yummm.

I did a Matty broadway run from last year, thinking it would be an easy run. It was not. He had you on a hill for all of La Vie Boheme from Rent, which is like a million minutes long. I ended up finishing only a few points from my PR. So much for an easy day! I did a few more miles afterward and got 5 total miles for the day.

5k+ outside today. Did the 5k in sub 27, which was fast considering it was already 88 and there was no shade. Now I need to drink back the gallon of water I sweat out.

I don’t think I checked in yesterday but I did the all for one more ride with zero expectations and beat my PR by 2 points. I worked so hard that my legs were shaking for 10 minutes afterwards and actually felt like vomiting for a while. I had lifted for 50 min prior so I was cooked.
I’m not sure that’s appropriate lol?
Today I’m spinning my legs on a ride and mah go to beach for a long walk later.

Food should be good today: B - avocado toast with grilled tomatoes, chorizo, and egg L - miso soup B - spatchcock grilled piripiri chicken with salad

Fish tacos are a favorite here. We have them probably weekly.
Yesterday I did Jess Sim's Whitney full body strength. It was a fun one with way more jumping jacks than I anticipated. Like way more.
Today I think I'm doing Sam's Broadway ride again. I loved it so much and need something fun and inspiring.
