I'm 34 weeks today and figured today would be my final struggle through a 2 mile run. Then I felt super great and did both Olivia's 20 minute interval run and Selena's 20 minute 90's run and comfortably ran 4 miles and definitely could have kept going if my kids weren't getting needy. So I guess I'm not done afterall 🤷🏻♀️
Enjoying my avocado toast and scrambled eggs then I have a telehealth appointment and a chiropractor appointment. No clue on food the rest of the day.

Today was either rest or cross-train, I chose rest. I'll have my bike by next week hopefully, so I'll start using it on my cross-train days.

4 miles for me this morning. I wiped out just before mile 1 and had to run the rest with blood running down my leg from a knee. I’m sure I looked lovely. OMG, way to keep going! How are you feeling, is it still painful? I'm sorry that you fell.
It’s ok. Big gash on my knee, but more bruised ego than anything else. It was a weird curb cut that I almost trip on all the time, and this time I actually did. But thankfully, no sprains or anything like that!

I was NOT feeling my workout this morning. I did most of it anyway but the last set of movements (hammer curls with a pair of 30 lb weights, lolololno) I just, no. I did 2 reps with 20s and then skipped them altogether. I think my arms were just pooped out from the rest of the workout by that point ( GhoatMonket tempo pushups with a 20 pound db on my back, your fav) but I have a call with my coach later to talk about them lol. 4 mi run + full body workout B: nonfat yogurt bowl with almonds, granola, cherries S: onebar L: daves power bread sandwich with roasted turkey and cheese S: apple D: turkey burger, wheat bun, sauteed garden veggies (squash, green beans, basil, tomatoes)

But good for you.
I hope its a short convo - cause it should go like this.
coach, those tempo pushups with weight on my back suck. i hate them. i am not doing them. ok thanks bye.
but you know your coach will say, that is exactly why you should do them; it will give you strength and character (or some shit). to build you up and do them.

Haha the call was his idea. I'm sure you're right. I literally cannot do one rep with a 30 pound though. I've been dropping down to lower weights every time he assigns them and I wonder if he hasn't noticed my log. I laughed out loud when I saw my assignment on the app: "3 sets of 6-8 reps with your 30s!" His exclamation point was so chipper but nooooope.

Oohhh more cardio and now yoga classes for kids just dropped on the Peloton app. DD will be excited. She needs something to do and has been wanting to try yoga. She’s way too old for the cosmic kids stuff so I hope this is good.

I haven't been checking in and I am going to make that a priority.
I have been maintaing with the last couple parties, but this week i am back to cutting.
Been plugging along on the 80 day obsession program. I started phase 3 yesterday day 52/80 I believe.

We ended up going on a family hike yesterday afternoon, and it was so nice - both kids went down easy and slept like rocks! It was a good reminder that we all benefit from some outside time together.
Walked this morning to daycare dropoff (1.5 mi round trip), and will likely walk again for pickup. No other plans to work out, but you never know!

I chose more sleep over my scheduled run with RK (Advanced 20 min HIIT run) - can't imagine how I arrived at that decision LOL. I'll plan to do the HIIT run tomorrow or Thursday morning instead (depending on how I feel).
I did Olivia's 10 min HIIT Cardio (from 7/13/20) and Robin's 10 min Full Body Strength (from 9/15/18), which was actually the next scheduled workout for the 5K program. If you've only got 10 (or 20) minutes and want to hit and hit it HARD, these were really good as I was a sweaty beast by the time I finished Olivia's, with Robin's still to go.
It's one of the things I love most about the app. They have PLENTY of options if you want to get in a good sweat/burn but are pressed for time.

coconutbacon, my goodness! I'm glad you weren't seriously hurt. A few weeks back I was running along a road and the side of my left shoe clipped someone's yard and into their yard I went - luckily it was a higher elevation yard so more cushion. I bounced back up with skinned knees but the only thing I really hurt was my pride.

I did my first live ride with Dennis this afternoon, his 30 minute 80s ride, and it was a really fun playlist (think Billy Joel and Guns N Roses), but most of it was out of the saddle on high resistance, so I am le tired. But I did PR, by one point! Then I did a 10 minute arms toning with him and it was so hard I actually put the weights down and just used body weight for the last two minutes. Lordy. I'm feeling so good about my decision to purchase this bike though. Like our offices have now told us we are not coming back in 2020, so we're stuck at home for at least six months but working full time....if we didn't have the bike to hop on right downstairs I just can't see how we'd be able to get enough exercise. I haven't tried a Denis ride yet. I've heard he's super hard but I am all about the playlist and none of his spoken to me yet. This one sounds like it's up my alley though! Matt Wilpers is another I haven't tried. After reading this thread I don't think I want to, lol. I'm thrilled about my bike purchase, too! A small part of regrets not getting the actual Peloton but maybe I'll upgrade one day. Right now what I have is perfect and has really saved me. As much as I grouse (mostly TIC) about Wilpers, you have to try him. He's the Peleton equivalent of eating your veggies. Not always your favorite, but good for you.

Was this outdoors? I track my runs with my FitBit and my phone via Nike Run Club. There’s about a half mile difference between them for a 4.5-5mi run. (NRC will say 4.5 and FitBit will say 5). I pace and officially track mileage with the NRC, but I do know from official races that it is shorting me mileage. But I also think Fitbit is too generous, and I’d rather err in the side of working harder. If you’re doing it off your phone, I’ve heard there can be GPS interference and some issues with putting it in pockets, which I assume is what’s happening with me. NRC is less mileage for me than my garmin. I kept trying to figure out why there was such a difference if i started both within seconds of each other. I have noticed it's usually when my phone is in my flipbelt on my hips. If it's in my hand for intervals, it is pretty close to the same mileage as my garmin. I use Fitbit and the Runkeeper app to track my runs and it bugs when they aren't super-close when I start within 2-3 seconds of the other. And it's probably wrong when I glom onto the one that gives me the better time. Where they really differ is on walks - Fitbit has me way slower for walks than runs than Runkeeper. And they sometimes fluctuate on exact same routes, running with phone in hand where one time Fitbit shows me faster, the next Runkeeper. Or are pretty close on Mile 1, then deviate for Mile 2 and so on. So bizarre. I'll be glad to finish the Road to 5K program (which is all tread runs and therefore no tracking of stats) and can resume outdoor runs again. To get yet another comparison.

cnf, youre a badass!! 4 miles at 34 weeks is awesome.I got a 45 minute endurance class in this morning. Wilpers said it was on the easy side of endurance so I think I must still be recovering from the 100km on Sunday haha. It was challenging enough. I want to hit 12km in the morning and then my July kms will be over 500. Then I will have zero bike kms likely while we are on holidays which will be a nice little break.

I did arms and abs workouts yesterday and today was my zoom class which was mostly legs and then tacked on a Peloton legs workout. The zoom class had a burpees ladder with different kinds of burpees at the end which was super fun. /s

It makes me eye roll to see so many people in my running groups posting "well I know now never to buy a Garmin". Dude, this kind of thing can happen to any company. C'mon now.

A weird sort of NSV is I watch the BBM videos from YouTube and I just added the whole list to my library, it lists them from day 90 at the top to day 1 at the bottom. Now that I am on day 36, I don't have to scroll nearly as far to get to the video I want. It's the little things.

Or i could go thru each activity on my watch and add them up.

They're uploading now! All my stuff synced this morning. The only thing still not working for me is syncing backwards from connect to watch but it's pulling watch data now. I use a 920 to workout and wear a VA3 as a daily watch. My VA3 pulls my workout info from connect usually but it's not doing that today even though it keeps trying. So despite having 10k steps only 2600 of them are showing up on my VA3. Usually they drop in after both sync. Not s huge deal, I'm sure it'll keep getting sorted out.

I think I have everything back now. mine is pulling data - but garminconnect.com has a calendar on there and shows you your weekly totals and monthly totals. completely does the math for this lazy girl. it needs to be up and running too.

This is what I’ve been doing. 🙈 I have an Apple Watch and, as far as I can tell, it doesn’t add up miles so I’ve been tracking them in my notes. There’s probably a better way but I haven’t had the energy to figure it out.
