June was ok, I havenβt lost any weight but I have lost inches and gained strength. I hit my macros and then start mindlessly snacking after the kids go to bed. I really need to stop that since itβs derailing my progress.
Goals for July are finish TT and stick with macros. Move the scale to a new low.

July Goals Reduce coffee and sugar intake. My dentist told me my teeth had deteriorated alot since my last visit. he said pregnancy combined with unusually acidic pH in my saliva. Heβs so concerned that I have to use prescription toothpaste now. Iβve always had bad teeth but I really tried during the pregnancy to be better about it. Reach out to my OB to talk about how Iβve been struggling. I've told myself every morning for the past week that todayβs the day Iβm gonna call her and ask for help and I havenβt done it. Organize the pantry and printer closet. Go for walk at least 3x a week. This is really goofy, but will your H call for you? I HATE making phone calls, and sometimes, when I really put things off, he will step in and make that initial call for me.

I need to really get back to it this month. I am allowed to do everything, holding weights is just a little tough, but Iβm really going to try to make it work.

It's July! I didn't set any goals in June, but I closed my apple watch rings every single day except one (I was 4 minutes short on my exercise ring) so I feel great about that. We are with family for the next couple of weeks, and celebrating DD's birthday, so I don't expect to do anything except maintain/try to eat fruits and veggies. So far today I've had nothing but coffee and blueberry muffins. Oops!
Yoga + crush your core w1d3 this morning (10 minutes is way harder than 5! wow!), will swim later. Maybe go on a walk once it cools of this evening, too.

Day 59/60 Insanity Cardio Power and Resistance plus Insanity Asylum vol 2 sports assessment. One more day. Tonight I'm taking a homemade pasta making class. I haven't come up with my July goals yet. I need to think on that.

So I'm trying to jump in here after lurking the threads on and off from the past couple of months. I started working out for the first time in 5 years in April. Not sure what pushed me to start again to be honest, but reading through some of the threads for ideas on what to try and stuff was really helpful, so thank you all for that. My July goals are to keep up with my C25k 3-4 times a week and stay on top of the strength program I'm doing. I was just picking workouts online for a while and I think I might like that better than what I'm doing now, but I want to stick it out for another month and see. Food wise I want to balance out my meals more. I'm using my fitness pal to track but it's not my favorite. Hope it's alright that I'm jumping in. Y'all are very inspiring bunch. Welcome! Everyone here is so inspiring and kind - itβs a great place to hang out!

I am super-pressed for time today so I did 10 minutes of Chest & Back with Chase and 10 minutes of Arms & Shoulders with Adrian.
Chase used a band, in addition to dumbbells, and I had not used a band in some time...so I definitely felt that on the rows and chest flys.

Hi. I am just continuing the same ole thing. Trying to hit macros most of the time. Exercising 5ish days per week. Iβm trying out Pelotonβs new strength training plan, and really liking it so far. Today is supposed to be a rest day, but tomorrow will be day off working out, so I am doing that workout today. It is 30 minutes of body weight strength. Maybe I will do a ride as well, depending on timing. The workouts have been killer so far. Macros are good today. I tried out this bowl I found at Sprouts, and itβs really good! I grabbed another couple flavors to try out when I need a quick meal for work. www.cedarlanefoods.com/products/chicken-souvlaki/

I donβt remember my goals for June, or even if I set any, ha. For July I would like to get back into running a bit now that I had to give back my rental spin bike. Might try some peloton runs. At work theyβve moved to constant masking unless youβre eating, as opposed to just in patient care areas like before so this is really impacting how much water I drink. So thirsty and headache-y all the time So I guess my goals are to move a bit more and drink more water somehow. Setting the bar where I can reach it lol. We have had universal masking for a while and it does make getting water harder for sure. I aim to drink 20 on my coffee break (either coffee or water) and then my entire 32 oz water bottle on my lunch break. Which means bathroom trips every 30 minutes for the rest of my day. π And then I fill my water bottle up and try to finish the bottle again on my way home, or at least half of it.

Iβm struggling, which is no surprise. I love my peloton but I feel like I canβt really get time for it until I go back to work beginning of August. The babies are very all over the place with their naps, so itβs either a 2 hour nap or 45 min or 1 hour but I canβt rely on it to get a solid ride plus shower in. After my H is done with work for the day then itβs dinner and spend time with my oldest before bed, and by bedtime Iβm exhausted from the day. I think once Iβm back to work, Iβll be able to get up early and get a ride in before WFH. I just have to sort of wing it until then. Food is eh. Itβs not bad but itβs not great. I am definitely not trimming down at all but Iβm not gaining anything either. Iβm 11 weeks PP so everything here on out is going to need to be worked off. The first year is hard with just ONE baby, let alone two. I know itβs hard and you are antsy, but youβre doing great!

The nice part about going back is that I eat so much better at work. Ive boiled eggs and packed my lunch. There is no pirates booty or goldfish at work, ha! I only get to eat what I thoughtfully choose to bring instead of what is convenient. This has been my saving grace throughout this time, lol. I can only eat what I pack, because the restaurant at work isnβt open yet!

June was pretty great. Iβve been saying forever that I want to kick up my workouts and I finally did. Iβm running faster and farther than I have in years and did 2 solid strength training workouts per week. I tracked most of the time, but not enough to lose any weight. I seriously need the scale to go down so thatβs my focus for July.
I did a 30 minute peloton run this morning, just over 2 miles. Food today is good
B- chocolate protein oatmeal with strawberries S- Greek yogurt L- Lillieβs Greek pork pita, watermelon D- garlic lemon shrimp with quinoa and broccoli

willow 11 weeks PP with twins is a crazy busy, give yourself some time and grace! Both of my pregnancies did take at least 6 months for the weight to slowly come off, and its exhausting. Just keep doing what feels good and you will be able to ramp up eventually. I know its frustrating because you just want to feel like yourself again. Hugs. Thank you, to you and to lemons. I know this logically, Iβm just impatient lol. Which, I know that even when I wasnβt PP, it took a good year of regular weightlifting and some cardio plus really good food monitoring to be where I was before I got pregnant. So I know there is no quick fix. I just hate starting over again. And no judgement from me! I started P90X 3 weeks postpartum (wtf self) after DS because I so badly just wanted to feel like a separate person again... so I totally get it.

June was successful as far as my goals despite having a bonkers month. I stuck to the ab rehab program every single day, I started easing my way into intermitent fasting, and I got my Peloton and started riding.
In July I want to keep at ab rehab every single day (it's a 12-week program), make myself a realistic workout schedule and stick to it, and ease into clean IF.
Today it took me 2 hours to do 45 min worth of workout, but I hobbled my way through a low imapct ride, 10 min arms, 10 min legs, and ab rehab while my oldest basically tried to burn the house down around us all. I really hate working out at home, but I'm trying to just get used to this wackiness.

I didnβt make any goals for June because I was just starting to get back into healthy eating and working out. But I did lose 5 pounds. Iβve been sticking with the Chloe Ting Flat Tummy Challenge. The only two days that I missed were the days where I was working in my garden for hours. Weβre digging a 100ft long trench by hand around the perimeter to sink a fence and hopefully keep the chipmunks from eating my squash. So itβs WORK. It felt fair to skip on those days.
July goals: Finish the challenge Start running again (I kinda hate these workout videos and need to get back to what I donβt dread, which is running for me) Drink more water Keep making healthy food choices Losing 5 lbs would be a nice bonus

NSV: I live that thick thigh life. Have since I came out of the womb, and Iβve always been insecure. But today I wore shorts in public today for the first time in 10+ years. And guess what? No one cared. My black leather seats were VERY hot though. YES! Great job! I too live that life. This summer I bought a pair of jean shorts based on a recommendation by someone I follow on IG who is a similar size to me. She said not to be afraid of sizing up for comfort. Sure enough, I did and I don't get that weird leg squeeze when I sit down and jabbing into my belly.

No one cared. My black leather seats were VERY hot though. We are one in the same. I'm a total bottom heavy pear. Even in the thick of anorexia my thighs still looked so disproportionately big to me (I'm sure they weren't really, but yeah) I live that thick leg life. I finally gave in to shorts a couple of years ago and it wasn't as scary as my brain made it up to be. I was that girl in jeans in August when it was 100+ degrees because I hated my legs so much. I'm really happy you felt good in your shorts! Please keep wearing them if they make you happy!

I totally forgot it was Wednesday because I'm still in some delirious state where I don't know up from down half the time. H has golf so the girls and I always order in. I ordered from an Italian place I've been wanting to try and hot damn it was so good! I'm stuffed and I still have like 2/3 of my Alfredo left over. I demolished the chicken. And there's tirimisu waiting for me in the fridge once my kids pass out in a few minutes.
Also, we have a home nurse coming tomorrow to help with C's dressing change because today was an epic shitshow. Originally they were coming at 8:30 which is when I'm working out if H goes first, which he does when he has morning work meetings, which he also does tomorrow. They called like an hour ago to reschedule at noon. Yes please! Now I don't have to fret over getting in a workout after all that Italian food. Because priorities or something.

I bought one of the Sunny bikes to use with the Peloton app and did my first cycling class today. I still need to figure out how the resistance compares to the Peloton one but other than that it was good.
Food today has been decent:
B-Kodiak Muffin cup L-Quinoa with Kielbasa D-meatloaf muffins
For exercise I did 20 mins on the bike, an upper body weight workout, then 20 mins of running.

I have the same bike setup. I usually just try to gauge how hard the instructor seems to be working and how fast/easy their legs are moving. I think I approximate pretty well and my legs always burn and I'm dripping with sweat, so I figure I'm close enough!
