I’m pretty happy with my June - I completed my running streak, lost 3 lbs and ran 88 miles. I sucked big time at strength training, though.
For July, I’d like to try to hit 100 miles (this is going to be so hard since 99% of my runs are while also watching two kids) and try to do 2 strength training sessions a week.
I did 4 miles today and felt pretty good. I did a Wilpers “fun run” which was not fun lol but I got it done.

I don’t remember my goals for June, or even if I set any, ha. For July I would like to get back into running a bit now that I had to give back my rental spin bike. Might try some peloton runs. At work they’ve moved to constant masking unless you’re eating, as opposed to just in patient care areas like before so this is really impacting how much water I drink. So thirsty and headache-y all the time So I guess my goals are to move a bit more and drink more water somehow. Setting the bar where I can reach it lol.

I had a pretty great June. My food wasn’t always on point, but it was better more often than not. I had tons of fun “meeting” HIHers for peloton rides, and I started the tighter together challenge mid-month. I’m starting to see some decent definition in my arms and the scale is down 3lbs.
For July, I just want to stick to these food habits. I do IF (18:6 schedule), and that’s been going well. I want to stick to my TT macros for the entire month and finish out that program. I also hope to be able to do several live rides with HIHers.

I’m struggling, which is no surprise. I love my peloton but I feel like I can’t really get time for it until I go back to work beginning of August. The babies are very all over the place with their naps, so it’s either a 2 hour nap or 45 min or 1 hour but I can’t rely on it to get a solid ride plus shower in. After my H is done with work for the day then it’s dinner and spend time with my oldest before bed, and by bedtime I’m exhausted from the day. I think once I’m back to work, I’ll be able to get up early and get a ride in before WFH. I just have to sort of wing it until then.
Food is eh. It’s not bad but it’s not great. I am definitely not trimming down at all but I’m not gaining anything either. I’m 11 weeks PP so everything here on out is going to need to be worked off.

I was totally on track to hit all my June goals; 80oz minimum of water per day, 6 days a week of running, 4-5 strength days per week and 1-2 yoga sessions per week. Then C had her treadmill accident and everything fell apart for me. And even after getting home from the hospital I haven't been able to get myself pulled back together. I'm hoping July gets better, but we just did our first at home dressing change without a ketamine sedation and it was... not good. So my bar of expectations is real low.
My only July goals are 80oz minimum of water per day and something active everyday so I don't turn into a beached whale who just gives up for the next nine weeks until this baby gets yanked out.
Today I did 2 miles during a 20 minute endurance Intervals run with Selena and a 20 minute full body strength with RK. I ended June with 58.5 miles so hopefully I can come in around a similar number for July, but whatever I get at this point as my body slowly gives up is fine and good. I'm at 499 miles for the year, so doing pretty well all things considered.
Hanging in there.

Hi. I am here. I've been lingering. Since I've been WFH mid-March, I've lost ~15 lbs. I haven't been dilligently tracking or watching what I eat, I 1st wanted to focus on getting my mindset and motivation back. I think I am finally there. I've been really great at being active and am getting in at least 30 minutes of cardio 5 days a week. Most weeks more, but the weekends vary. I just bought a new pair of sneakers, so once they come in, I will be ready to go.
For July, I want to get in 5 workouts/week and close all my rings on my apple watch every day.

Ive been thinking about this with going back to work. Trying to plot how I’ll get my water and coffee in while wearing a mask for 12 hours.

The nice part about going back is that I eat so much better at work. Ive boiled eggs and packed my lunch. There is no pirates booty or goldfish at work, ha! I only get to eat what I thoughtfully choose to bring instead of what is convenient.

willow 11 weeks PP with twins is a crazy busy, give yourself some time and grace! Both of my pregnancies did take at least 6 months for the weight to slowly come off, and its exhausting. Just keep doing what feels good and you will be able to ramp up eventually. I know its frustrating because you just want to feel like yourself again. Hugs.

psychmom, I put off talking to my dr for too long and 8 years later still regret waiting and feeling like I missed a quarter of my daughters first year of life. I hope today is the day you can make the call. ::heart::

So I'm trying to jump in here after lurking the threads on and off from the past couple of months. I started working out for the first time in 5 years in April. Not sure what pushed me to start again to be honest, but reading through some of the threads for ideas on what to try and stuff was really helpful, so thank you all for that.
My July goals are to keep up with my C25k 3-4 times a week and stay on top of the strength program I'm doing. I was just picking workouts online for a while and I think I might like that better than what I'm doing now, but I want to stick it out for another month and see. Food wise I want to balance out my meals more. I'm using my fitness pal to track but it's not my favorite.
Hope it's alright that I'm jumping in. Y'all are very inspiring bunch.

I was in the June thread exactly one time. The month wasn't bad. Finished up a diet bet, got back into long walks and some harder workouts. Water intake could have been better; but since it is so damn hot, I've been eating primarily salads.
July Goals: See the next decade down on the scale (I'm about 4 lbs away right now) 80-100oz of water per day - especially on weekends when I let myself drink Track at least 30 minute workouts for 20 days this month

Hey all! I ended June with 4lbs total lost and a whole lot gained in the strength department. Still spinning once a week but now my main focus has been body pump 4x a week, with one other cardio class a week too (dance cardio, I do it because it is fun!) In pump I have gained a ton of strength and my arm muscles are really starting to pop. I like em.
Food was good. I have a healthy balance here that I am ok with.
For now this is an easy schedule to maintain so I am going to ride it out until we know what school will look like. I have stopped running as much, I just get my cardio through spin and body pump. Once school (if school?) comes back, I will prob start running again as it was easy out my front door. I also stopped running because my tri was officially called, not even a reschedule date.
July goals - 4 lbs lose, keep up with my exact workout schedule. Would like to also make a baby. But hey, some goals are easier than others. LOL.

I started tracking eating towards the end of June but I’ve already lost a couple of pounds. July goals are to: Continue tracking food Move more Increase water intake Most importantly, to not give up!
I’d love to find some kind of exercise I enjoy. My BF tells me to find what I enjoy (she’s a runner). I get bored really easily. I switch hobbies all the time. Anyone similar?

I know this logically, I’m just impatient lol. Which, I know that even when I wasn’t PP, it took a good year of regular weightlifting and some cardio plus really good food monitoring to be where I was before I got pregnant. So I know there is no quick fix. I just hate starting over again.

jumpin on in here
I've been on WW for a few months now but only just now have stayed on the wagon longer than a damn week. This 'rona shit has been hard man
So yeah, first "successful" week I've lost 3 pounds... working into my second week now. Mondays and Wednesdays are established gym days, and try to go on a weekend day too if I can manage.
the biggest challenge seems to be that I now drink alcohol.... frequently. But I do stick with vodka and diet cranberry.

I honest-to-goodness forgot we were in a new month today.
June was a really great month for me, workout-wise. I was active for 25 days and am on a 10-week streak.
I finished the Total Strength, Crush Your Core, and Welcome to Peleton Outdoor programs and started the Road to the 5K program (one workout left in week 2 of 6). I kept pretty consistent with stretching and flexibility by doing stretch and yoga classes, especially before/after my runs.
I still need work on healthier eating habits and more water, water, water, so I think I need to go back to tracking. My weight has held steady but I really should be in the best decade by now. Why do I love food so dang much?
Congrats to all of you for the victories, big, small, and everything in between, especially the NSV. And to those who barely popped in because LIFE, we're all here for you.

Happy July 1st! I'm hoping to have a good month, riding the momentum I found in June.
I completed 21 Day Fix on BOD and joined WW as well and I've successfully lost 5 lbs. How I managed a loss along with my twin's 9th birthday celebration and Father's Day treats is amazing. I also took pictures from the start of 21 Day Fix and at the end, and even with only 5 lbs, I can see a difference.
My goals this month are to continue following WW and my H and I are going to pick another program out from BOD to do.
I'm finally feeling a bit better about myself and it's helping me get out of the funk I've been in for months.
