Ugh! Cs teacher just sent the plan for school tomorrow and it’s too much. He has his usual start and end Zooms, his small group ELA and Library. Then he has four assignments that need to be turned in, two video lessons to watch, and a writing assessment. How the hell am I supposed to work and get this all done! Not to mention the battles with C. Wait, that’s all for one day?! |

wedding, I think that’s way too much for the day. Is there some thing that he’s doing that you don’t think he’s getting much out of? Maybe you could have a conversation with the teacher about what is essential and what is enrichment/review?

We went to a new to us park today. There were a few people out at the baseball and soccer fields, but we were the only ones on the paved trail. M rode his bike and M2 his scooter. We also had a lunch picnic under some trees. It has been so nice and has made a world of difference just getting out to the park today and yesterday. It almost feels normal- whatever that means. M keeps asking when we can go back because he enjoyed the outing so much. There are a lot of batting cages at the the one we went to today and only one was in use while we were there so I think Mh plans to take him to do that one day this week.

wedding that's absolutely nuts. I'd definitely talk to the teacher and if s/he doesn't back down I'd go to the principal. That's insane. I'm sure a lot of it has to be busy work that kids don't benefit from either.

lahdeedah Dude started telling me his underarms stink and he wants deodorant. I can’t smell anything and I think he just says that because he has seen me put it on. But I told him I would buy some if it helps him feel more comfortable. I wasn’t comfortable with giving him anything with aluminum so went with this:

lahdeedah the girls use Arm and Hammer. It's natural without aluminum. Mostly to copy me, but woof they smell after playing outside.
