Remember the 9 million pounds of chicken my DH ordered? They have arrived. Since we had given up hope on ever getting them, he also ordered a 1/4 of a cow. The cow is coming next week. There is no where to put a cow with the whole freezer full of chicken....

As I was getting the house ready, a car pulls up at 1:30 and this young couple gets out. I go outside, thinking the 2 pm people have arrived early. Nope, they just saw the house listed online and wondered if they could see the inside.

*Shudders at the images of a 1/4 of a cow.* kim22 I'm laughing at your DH's dedication to ensuring the family has a stockpile of meat. Did you guys ever go through all those oranges? We ended up with 2 bags of cuties and went through all those. Currently on a bag of regular oranges. |

Hey. I slept in this morning, picked up the girls’ dance pics, we returned my old vehicle to the dealership and then loaded up DH’s truck with yard debris for the dump. So now I’m relaxing in a lawn chair while the girls are playing outside. My lilacs are starting to open up and I can’t wait for the whole shrub to be in bloom in a few days. Congrats to your DH flamingo! |

I have finished and recorded my presentation for class. Now I just have to write the long paper. I should have started these assignments sooner but between working overtime this week at work, teaching kindergarten, keeping my kids entertained, cleaning the house, and cooking meals it was pushed to the back burner. Now it’s due tomorrow and I’m stressing.

No idea, for the first time in 7 weeks, I was not home so my parents got the task of bringing it in and fitting it in the freezer. Good thing for the freezer chest in the basement. |

We ended up with 2 bags of cuties and went through all those. Currently on a bag of regular oranges. We still have oranges. I gave them out to my parents, aunt, and grandma and we still have a lot. We are sharing the cow with my sister and her family. DH or I have been shopping for us, my parents, my aunt and uncle and my grandma to protect my grandma since she’s 94 and my mom and aunt take care of her. I’m telling them all they only get chicken and beef from now on. |

The park was nice. The boys chased squirrels the whole time. There were a number of people there walking and about half had masks on, but we were ok to stay on our side of the walkway when in passing. We picked up Mexican for lunch and I've been cleaning and organizing a few spaces. The boys are outside playing with water guns and I'm inside enjoying the peace for a few minutes.

Watching The Office while doing insanely boring trainings for work. The last season is total shit. I watch this show for the comedy and fun escape. {Spoiler}having tons of friction with Jim and Pam is just lame! |

Good Lord in heaven. My favorite uncle just FB messaged me. I haven't heard from him in years. He was my uncle by marriage and my aunt died several years ago. We haven't had any family gatherings since then. Just had minimal FB interactions. So I figure it was some genuine contact. Nope. He's informing me how he was blessed with some grant and I could access this too.  Some sort of BS pyramid scheme or MLM no doubt. |

I peel oranges and cut them usually, but they’re the bigger ones— the navel or the Cara Cara.
