Who's up?
I started my period and am feeling crampy. A went to get the last 6 boards we need to finish our front steps. So now we can actually use the front porch. I'm trying to convince him to build the back steps tomorrow but he doesn't want to... but I want to be able to get to the back yard without going through the garage.

Morning. The kids are moving in to their big rooms tomorrow and I’m a mess. No babies in the nursery. I’m am way to sentimental and emotional about this. The kids are looking forward to it very much. I’ll take some pics for you girls  . |

DH is off to do his FAA flight and board. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
We have a showing at 10 and another at 2 so I’m just trying to keep the house tidy. It’s nice here today so we should be able to get outside a lot.

A brought me home a large ice coffee. Bless him. So I'm curled up with coffee and my heating pad. MJ desperately wants to go outside so hopefully these cramps ease up soon. We're going to grill out in the front yard tonight.

Morning! It's absolutely beautiful today - the trail head lot was already pretty packed on my way home from my run and it was only about 7:30. What a great morning for a long run though! The trail was a bit muddy in places and there were more runners out than I've seen lately, but it's becoming my Saturday morning routine.
The boys are excited to get outside. We're just going to take everything out - the bounce house, the Jeep, the tent, anything to keep them occupied and away from a screen after such a rainy week. They've definitely never had so much screen time and while I don't love it, it's life right now.
I need to do some cleaning (I barely did anything all week) and I assume I'll crash and get in a power nap during Chase's nap. For now I need to get the boys out before they break something.

And then several days later I started getting showing requests. I turned down a couple but when they kept coming inquired with the PM, who told us it was back on the market. Morning! I have a paper and a PowerPoint presentation that’s due today for class. I’ve read everything for it just haven’t started either of them. I need to finish my target order for same day delivery and work on some laundry.

Good luck to yh, flamingo! Today is MH’s 40th. I’m so happy it’s a sunny day and we can spend it outside with the kids. I’m making a burger bar for dinner and ice cream sundaes for dessert. I’m very excited. I also stated Normal People on Hulu last night and I am obsessed. |

Hi.
I had a glorious night of sleep. I made myself comfortable in the guest room. MH was in his feelings about it, but he takes everything so personally. It has nothing to do with him- it’s a me thing. All this togetherness is too much and I need to make sure I am giving myself the space I need to make it through.
We’ll try the park today. Hope it’s not too many people so we can get out for a while. I need to figure out what’s for dinner, too.

Hi hi - I keep writing to check in but get distracted. Finally spring like here thank goodness. I just did a ride and now having breakfast. Some people are in our yard, apparently their pet cockatoo is in our tree..hope they catch it before the flyover in an hour. A hospital super close is on the flight path so it will be loud. We will go out to see if we can see, but I'm kind of side eyeing this, as there is so much more that can be done to support healthcare workers than this, like proper PPE. Also blue Angels is the ultimate social event usually for Navy graduation growing up.

lahdeedah Good for you! I've thought about sleeping in the guest rooms at times, too. DH's allergies have flared and he's cough-y, sneezy and restless. We have a king sized bed and yet he still ends up on my side to snuggle and I just feel like I cannot. get. away!

lahdeedah - I woke up with no covers this morning. DH stole every last one and there was no getting them back. I cannot fathom NOT understanding wanting some space right now!!

lahdeedah Good for you! I've thought about sleeping in the guest rooms at times, too. DH's allergies have flared and he's cough-y, sneezy and restless. We have a king sized bed and yet he still ends up on my side to snuggle and I just feel like I cannot. get. away! Yesssss. I’ve talked with my friend about how his love language is touch and mine is not. She gets me because she is the same way. I do feel bad that a lot of times I just can’t be that. It’s so much worse with all this togetherness. |

Oh my goodness. It took my dad and my husband over 2 hours to take ds’ over a 100yo wardrobe upstairs. It had to be completely demolished and put back together because it wouldn’t fit through our stupid stairwell. I thought it would be a 10 minute job max. This was the first time my dad was at my house in 8 weeks, I was happy that he stayed for a glass of wine after (might as well after this) it was nice to have both my parents over for a bit. Pictures will follow, since we aren’t done yet...

That reminds me of when my parents bought our lake house, and the king-sized pillow top mattress was delivered for the master. We had to remove the railing and fold the mattress in half to get it up the narrow stairwell, and it still got stuck 🤪 so I had to crawl up thru the mattress to help my mom at the top of the stairs with my dad at the bottom pushing. lol. |

I'm at the office. I was still feeling pissy about the boss' email, so I replied again giving him options on all the supposed files he wants to close and I explained that the files/boxes in my office have all been waiting on our lazy runners. They know their job, they just don't do it. I kind of threw them under the bus, but I don't like people thinking I don't do my job properly.
Cadence got the tablet taken away this morning for the foreseeable future. She was supposed to be getting ready for her zoom dance class, but she was moving at a snail's pace and wouldn't let go of the damn thing. So I took it away to turn it off and she hit me in the face. She said she was just trying to get it back and didn't mean to hit me, but yesterday she pushed me when I took it away, so she's clearly having a keep your hands to yourself issue right now. So bye bye tablet. I'm also not loving her attitude lately and listening to the videos she watches, I can see where she is getting some of it.
Oh, and her dance teacher never showed up for the Zoom lesson. We sat there for 20 minutes and I was like, screw it, she isn't showing, and turned it off. So all the morning drama was for not.
I'll probably stay at the office for a couple more hours. I enjoy the peace and quiet and am not looking forward to returning home to the wild child. Mh asked her this morning if she had had coffee. Nope, that's just her, which you would know if you weren't so zoned out all the time with your face in YOUR tablet. His ability to tune everything out is amazing. I wish I was that good at it. Yesterday I locked myself in my room just to get away, then every 5 minutes either Cadence or mh would come knocking. DUDE! Just let me have some time to myself!!! Rumor is that his office will be opening back up on the 8th, which I'm kind of happy about. I would like my kitchen table back!
