I woke up at 5:30 because evie came in our room and was laying in the corner in blankets. No idea why, but I got up and let the dogs out and realized my period this month is way heavier than usual. I hate being a woman sometimes.
We have 0 plans this weekend. It's going to be nice this weekend, so if I feel up to it, I want to go for a walk.

Morning! We have my BIL's 40th birthday party this afternoon at a whisky distillery. I'm not into whisky and wish they had other drinks but it should be fun!

Morning. Dh is in Cardiff for the weekend, so off course both kids woke up during the night. Luckily they went back to sleep easily. Ds went on a toad rescue mission this morning with my uncle, he had a blast & transferred 27 toads 😂. The weather sucks, so I took the kids to a dollar three kind of store and got them some new sketchbooks and paint. Dd has a very mild fever (probably the same thing ds had last week), she seems perfectly fine otherwise, so hopefully she’ll have a goodnights sleep and that’s the end of it. I’ve been up since six and am ready for bedtime already, four more hours!

Morning! Kids woke up at 635 this morning. Does DST make it darker in the mornings? Bc we need that.
I feel like I won the breakfast game this morning. I made pancakes in a sheet pan (like you spread the batter out flat so it bakes as one entire rectangle) and then I let the kids cookie cutter their pancakes out. Josie chose a rabbit, a kangaroo and a frog bc it’s leap day!

wineallthetime they don’t serve anything asides wiskey?! Hope you have fun! No! It's all craft whisky cocktails and whisky tastings! They also don't have food but my sister is bringing stuff in (I'm bringing a veggie tray). MH and I are getting a drink before going haha |

Morning. Mh is off getting his car serviced and I am home until we go to swim. We will head to my mom's for a visit later and then out for pizza with my dad and SM. Tomor we may go to a college bball game, but that kind of sounds exhausting right now..

I didn’t flip it, but you could easily put another cookie sheet on top to do an easy flip. |

Morning. I slept like crap last night but I'm surprisingly not that tired. I'm at work until 2. It's supposed to get to 54 today so I told S we could go to the zoo after I get home. Hopefully I don't regret that decision. I love that it's starting to feel like spring. I had my first random person ask me about my pregnancy this morning. Normally at work I wear a fleece because it's cold but I got warm so I took it off. It kind of caught me off guard because it was someone with the patient I was registering.

Morning, happy Saturday!
We are all in need of a chill day, spend some time hanging out at home since it was a busy week. We might venture to the grocery store but other than that I imagine Frozen 2 will be on repeat all day while I do meal prep and I kinda feel like baking, I should open my recipe binder for inspiration.

I've got TKD this morning and I want to go to a native plant sale at the fairgrounds. Otherwise I have nothing on the agenda. I'm okay with that. Maybe go for a walk and knit.

We did family movie night last night and I chose the live action Lion King. DH really wanted to watch frozen 2 but I axed that immediately. I bought it when it came out on digital a couple weeks ago and the girls have watched it no less than 300 times (might be slightly exaggerating). I told DH he can watch it all he wants when I'm at work today and tomorrow.

We're at home most of today. I'm watching a little girl from noon-5. Then going to get a pedicure. I'm trying to find someone to go with me. My bils fiancee was going to but she backed out. They tend to just barely commit and then when something better comes along they bail. And that's what she did... and now she wants me to go with her to a bridal show tomorrow. I really dont want to.

nam2013 I'm intrigued, what does toad rescue entail and why do they need to be rescued? Between the wooded area where the toads live and the pond they lay there eggs in, is a road. They closed of the road with a fence and buried buckets every few meters. The toads, on their way to the pond, fall in the buckets. During the ‘egg laying season’ volunteers, of which my uncle is one, check the buckets and bring the toads that are in the buckets across the road. This wat they aren’t killed by cars  . |

I’m making appointments to get quotes on quite a few home renos I want done. I think we’ll actually move out for a month and just coordinate the contractors back to back. I’m excited!
