Coronavirus has officially hit WA. We've talked to the kids about handwashing more and I think I'm going to Lysol today to feel better about it. Saw the first "one person dies from coronavirus and the government dedicated 1.2 billion to it, but 22 veterans die by suicide everyday but what do they do?" post. 😒😒😒 People are so stupid. It's called the VA. There are many programs specifically devoted to the mental health of veterans and preventing suicide. Money was taken away from CDC funds for the fucking wall. Money is to stop and outbreak to prevent more deaths not because the life of the person who died is more valuable than that of veterans. Some people think that the government/general pop doesn't care about veterans at all. If they actually did a little research, they would see what resources are available. It's the same as people who dislike immigrants and refugees. They think they just get a huge handout when they get here but that is so far from the actual truth. |

MJ slept until 9! So I slept until 9! A got up with the boys at 8. We started the behavior color chart again to hopefully encourage good behavior. I bought a bag of favor bag fillers for an instant reward if they end the day on a positive color. Hoping this helps! I know it'll get better once we can send them outside, but only god knows when that will be... Woohoo! I'm glad you both got some good sleep last night. Bundle the boys up in snowpants, coats, and boots and send them outside. They will probably get muddy, but they can run their energy out. We're going to go to lunch and the park shortly. Its warm enough but my yard is just a pit from not having a ton of grass. |

peachsmama my mom used to pull the car out of the garage on rainy days and we had fun riding our bikes in circles and running around. We've done that some. |

@chrissy01 congratulations on the Deans list!! We are also watching the Gabriel Fernandez doc series. I remember the case but it wasn’t more than a blip on the news over here. It’s so horrible. We are only three episodes in and dh is away until Thursday so it will be a bit to finish it. Thanks! C actually grew up in Palmdale. He said there were a lot of abuse problems up there. They said after this case they were going to make big changes to the system but I don’t know if that ever happened |

We went to lunch and home depot and the park. It's the warmest day of the year so far. 60 degrees. Amazing.

I've been feeling dizzy today. It's a weird feeling. Cadence yelled for me at 3:30 and I noticed it then, but I just assumed it was from being half asleep. Nope. Still happening 12 hours later.
Cadence and I made lemon bars and brownies to take to work tomorrow as a thank you for their fun run pledges.
Now I'm making pork ribs, potato salad and corn on the cob for dinner.

Hi!
M came to our bed last night at some point. I was surprised he didn’t call out for us and just walked on over. He sleeps horribly!! M2 slept a lot later by himself so now I’m wondering if M wakes him up early with all his tossing and turning. We did all sleep in, so that was nice.
I’ve been running around doing errands since 11am. About to head home to start working in the yard.
I typed that 5 hours ago....🤦🏽♀️

I didn’t get nearly as much done as I would have liked, but I was clearing out the flowerbeds and shrubbery while MH cut the weeds in the lawn with the lawnmower. I stopped to wait for his help when I kept finding little snakes. 😫 I thought I would put more pine straw down once I cleaned it all up, but if it only makes good hiding/nesting spots for snakes, NO THANKS! Mulch it is. I need to ask around to see if they will just do the same with mulch.
We have to finish next weekend, but what I have done so far looks so much better. I’m ready for some rest and relaxation for the rest of the night. Hope the kids feel the same.

Meal prepped for the week and just making dinner for tonight, grilled cheese pizza (pepperoni, mushroom spinach). Both kids are eating it so win.
I also mad the kids green egg salad sandwich for tomorrow with a side of colorful goldfish since it’s Dr Seuss Day.

Blah day, k and I returned some sneakers and took some bags to Goodwill, and then wandered around the container store and quickly nwent from inspired to overwhelmed. J has a bad cough and a low temp, like barely 99 and has been lounging around since his nap..not sure what to think for tomorrow.
Oh and our county emailed and apparently may be relocating our ES to another location and moving some kids to a different school...sh*t is about to go down. This county doesn't take change well, at all. We liked this zone bc the ES/MS were right next to each other, which won't be the case now..and property value will probably take a hit if we are zoned for the other school. The public hearing is Thurs, they just emailed tonight about it 🙄.

lahdeedah nope to snakes. C likes to deliver laundry piles to the other kids. The other day, he took some socks to DD’s room. She was not in there and he started screaming and crying “I so scared, there’s a snake in Mal’s room.” There are no snakes around here at all but he would freak out every time anyone went upstairs. He’s only ever seen snakes at the zoo in tanks and he’s never expressed any fear so I don’t know where that came from.

I sliced the tip of my finger pretty badly with the bread knife this morning. I think I’ll get some butterfly bandages tomorrow. Hopefully they’ll stay in because it’s in a weird spot for bandaids. Every time I hit it, the blood bath begins. lol. Shit it hurts!
