Morning. I have to take my car in to be repaired this morning so I’m going to be cleaning out most of the stuff so that I don’t have to do a bunch of transferring in the cold at the body shop. peachsmama I hope it’s short lived and everyone is feeling better ASAP |

Oh No peachsmama, does everyone have it? I hope it passes quickly! The parade was something yesterday. 7 hours outside in 26 degree temps, snow flurries, not being able to move, I'm exhausted and sore. I would absolutely not do it again. I'm so happy to be in my warm, quiet office today. |

It snowed over night here. Nothing major, it will all melt by 10am if not sooner. I felt bad though because I didn't just stop and let Cadence take a minute to play in it. We just piled in the car and headed to school drop off. In the car she even said it never snows here. She's right. I could have stopped and let her enjoy the moment. I know they won't let them go out and play in it at school.

Morning! S started her day off with a 12 minute long seizure. So I had to give her the emergency med. she bounced back though so I sent her to school. They usually only last less than a minute so it’s hard to see and feel so helpless.
A couple of weeks ago I fell on my front steps on the ice. Well my butt still hurts! I’m wondering if I cracked my tailbone or something.

lfig - One of my co-workers fell on his deck about 2 weeks ago and is still feeling it. He assumes he fractured his tailbone but honestly whether it's fractured or bruised, it's one of those annoying things you just have to wait out. They DO make pillows for it, my Mom had to get one since she was wheelchair-bound this last time (i.e., not the first time!) she fractured hers.

I went to my sister's after work yesterday and had a drink with her. Then I went home and we had a friend come over and I had a tad too much wine so I'm feeling just a bit blah today.

Oh geez lfig, I’m sorry about the rough start. I witnessed a teammate’s epileptic seizure in high school once...it only lasted a minute or two and was very scary. I cannot imagine a 12-minute long one. You and S are both very strong ladies ❤️ Glad she bounced back ok. |

Morning!
I’m glad it’s Thursday. DH took C to school so I’ve been able to have a leisurely start. Once B gets on the bus I need to do some housework, but we had a good morning together reading and talking dinos.
Surgery is scheduled for Easter Monday, not the most convenient but my mom is going to fly up to help with the kids. That is their spring break week so at least she won’t have to worry about school, etc.
PDQ, just need to vent for a sec. My sister and I had another fight last night (unrelated to last one), and I had to hang up bc she was just over-wrought. This is not like her at all; I’m typically the more emotional one of the 2 of us. She has some stuff going on so I try to tread lightly and give her grace but I feel a bit like I’ve been a punching bag lately, so I’m taking a step back for a bit.

MH had a signing day event and got home late and I totally ignored the chaos that is my house. Just a lot of picking up and throwing out papers and such that have piled up throughout the week.

I’m mostly just nervous bc it’s my eye; she assured me that usually with this surgery you can’t even tell afterwards, but there’s always a chance. Just want it to heal smoothly. peachsmama, oh man, I'm sorry. That's the worst. I hope you all recovery quickly.  I'm sorry things have been tough lately flamingo. Even though your sister may be dealing with some things, you certainly have had your own stressors on your plate. It sounds like a good idea to take a step back for a while.  lfig poor girl and poor mom. You guys are both so strong.
