tgrimes and mwhip It's literally a printed 8.5x11 paper sign that has 'New Driver' on it that people put on the inside of their window so other drivers can see it. It's not a student driver or a learners holder, it's a person with a license. I just yell, 'IF YOU HAVE A GODDAMN SIGN ON YOUR WINDOW IT'S BLOCKING YOUR VIEW TO DRIVE' I kind of want one to put in my Jeep and make people stay the hell away from me! Dont do that, I'll judge you.

We have lost a very precious toy here. It’s some version of owlette. Basically we’re on a treasure hunt all day. Oh no! Let's start naming places to look: backpack lunch kit washroom under the bed in a shoe within the blankets in bed tupperware containers play kitchen cupboards Found! Inside of the trunk of the tricycle.

Hi hi. Mh took the big kids to school, so I had a break from that, which is greatly appreciated. K is currently napping on me and I'm unable to actually focus on work, even though I have no excuse. Tomorrow I'll probably keep N home from school bc this commuting is fresh hell and k is no longer a sleepy newborn that doesn't mind the car for extended periods of time.
Oh and my face is freaking out. I am trying a sample of that charcoal soap from beauty counter, hoping that may help. It's on my chin, so I think it's hormonal.

I have never heard of this. I don't understand why someone would voluntarily put up that sign. Well it'd be like if you were to come here in the dead of winter and drive, people new to this will put them up when the roads get full of snow and ice. Also, some people may come here from other counties where either the road rules or weather/conditions are different. But again, IF you have a license then the bar is set and you're (general you) equal to everyone on the roads.

The girls are going to TKD parents-night-out tomorrow night. They wanted to invite friends so last week I sent them home with notes and our phone number. No return calls. *sigh* It's so hard to set up activities for the kids now. They notes are probably buried in their friends' backpacks.

Morning! Got both kids off to school and just made a Target run. The wife of one of DH's subordinates just had a baby so his division chipped in for a gift, and as the division officer it was mH's job to get it, LOL. So I happily volunteered to make a gift basket. I got a few things off her registry and added some others. I think it'll be pretty, it's all pink/coral and aqua and pale yellow stuff. I probably should find some housework to do but I just want to make a turkey-bacon sandwich and enjoy the silence til it's time to go get C. inthekitty I am right there with you on avocado; it's fine but nothing to obsess over or...:shudder: eat on toast. I like guacamole ok but wouldn't go out of my way to order it, and I don't love the texture of avocado on tacos, etc.

Morning. I slept awful, ds woke up because his room was to hot & I couldn’t fall back asleep. As it turned out Dh had forgot to turn the thermostat down... I had an insane class observation, hats of to the teacher for keeping her calm. Kids are in the tub, indian is being delivered. Still feel like a teen on her first period, all the cramps. I just bought some extra granny pants, bring it on body 😤!

Well since I've been driving in my western province on the prairies for approximately 22.5 years I have seen them, mostly in my city which is where a lot of immigrants relocate to for convenience sake of course. I cannot remember the exact first time seeing the sign, but it's been a while.

UO's (or maybe not, IDK). I am so tired of reading about Harry and Meghan/Megxit. Exterior christmas decorations and PUMPKINS should be down by now (looking at you, people in my neighborhood). And they should DEFINITELY not co-exist. Personally, I'd rather have a smaller house but be able to furnish/decorate it nicely, than buy the biggest house I can afford but have plain and/or empty rooms <-- this brought to you by my perusal of endless homes in north FL. eta: nam2013 that's a good one about flavored coffees, I don't care for them either. I drink regular coffee with cream/sugar, or maybe a cappuccino if I'm out and want to splurge.

I'm sure I would have a hard time driving in the winter road conditions you all experience vino. And I'm somewhat used to snow and ice (although I hate it). I still wouldn't put that sign in my car. I'd probably try to avoid driving during peak times, since I know I would be the problem.

Meghan and Harry can go away now, which is hilarious because by geographic proximity they're closer than ever ::eyeroll:: I know some people keep the Christmas lights up until Chinese New Year which is Saturday, so after then I'll start side eyeing hard. And yes to the house, my cousin has a very large that they built and although it is furnished ok, they cannot take care of it and looks a mess all the time.

It should be in the first place I look because 9 out of 10 times, the lost item is put in the trunk of the tricycle and carted around

Ohhhh UO's I have so many..... I think that it is absolutely ridiculous when there is a 'New Driver' sign on cars. I don't give a shit, you're here and at the same standards as me and every other person on the road. What makes this EVEN worse is when it's a brand new car, whether it's a Kia or a Lexus I don't care, if you are worried about your driving then I suggest you get a jalopy. This must be a Canada thing. I don’t think I’ve ever seen those signs here except on driver’s ed cars. ETA: I see we covered this hours ago.

My girls still listen to Christmas music.
All the Christmas décor is long gone except for the wreath. I'm justifying that it's winter décor.
I used to think I never wanted a big house. Now I have a big house (3000 sq ft) and I love it. So much space. But I wouldn't want a massive house. When I see people on House Hunters insisting they need 5000 sq ft for their family of 4 I get very perplexed.

Hi!
I don't know about those new driver signs but I hate the Baby on Board signs. Like - hey I was going to hit you but now that I know there's a baby, I won't.
Yes to the crazy big houses. I just looked up where my kid's classmate lives. They are a family of 4 (2 kids, 2 adults) and they have 6 Bathrooms. Like, why? Now you have to clean all that!!
