Morning!
It’s H’s first day of preschool... finally! Looking forward to 2.5 hours to myself. Although, my project today is to get rid of the fruit flies in my kitchen... help! They started a month or more ago i think because of bananas, and I did the Apple cider vinegar trick which mostly got rid of them. But now, the last week or 2, we have them back and I’m not sure where they are coming from! So I’m going to be scrubbing every surface today. Ugh. Any other suggestions?

Sitting up front today. I forgot my book and I'm already bored. There's also a weird vibrating noise that I can't find the source of. It's going to drive me crazy.
Cadence has her first Daisy's meeting today. She asked what they were going to do and I said probably introduce themselves. She said it sounded boring. Yay!
Also can someone explain to me why she refuses to do the drop off line, but we barely get in the door of the school and she says bye and walks off. What is the point of me having to park and walk her in???

I think, in his case anyway, that he just likes the comfort of knowing I'm there even though he walks right in. I've been parking and walking up and we are not even able to go in the school. So I literally park, walk a block, and say bye to him on the sidewalk 2 feet away from where I would be dropping him at the curb. He's been letting MH do drop off line on his days, which is funny. Tomorrow will be my first day this week and I am going to try to get him to do the line. It's also picture day so I'll probably be in more of a hurry since I want to send him off looking his best. |

What sucks the most is when I'm trying to parallel park, which I'm absolutely horrible at and Cadence is in the backseat telling me how horrible I am at parking! Then let me do the drop off line!!!

Took C to school, now just waiting for B’s bus. I’m going to make a Homegoods run and stop at the nursery to hopefully replace a random azalea that died.

Took J to preschool and ran to the grocery. Stocked up on easy lunch things for the boys. Did some work and now I'm nursing my girl. Need to call transportation about switching M's bus route.

I’m getting excited about next week. Tuesday is Disneyland for Mickey’s Halloween party.
...And, I’m dating someone. He lives out of state and I am going out to see him next Thursday. Poppy is coming with and I have no idea how to fly with a toddler. I’m thinking I need to check her car seat, stroller, and PNP.

I explained to him what was going to happen when we got in line and he was off. It’s been smooth sailing since. Come on fellow moms, make like Nike and Just Do It! Lol |

Thinking of you today tallb! You got this! klong11 I'd just roll up in the drop-off line without saying a word. She'll adjust. Have so much fun at DL cagoldi. And whoot whoot to seeing someone! Rocking my first official sweater of fall today. Traffic was an absolute nightmare this morning. Took almost 4x longer than usual--and for no reason. Luckily my boss lives further south than me so I knew he wouldn't disappoint and would be late too. I'm just trying to make it through the week so I can finally enjoy a real weekend.
I think AHS starts tomorrow night. I love the 80s horror theme and all the promos I've seen. I have no doubt the first couple of episodes will be great...then it will descend into a turd like most the other seasons. I'll still watch though.
