The other week I went to try to buckle M with the seat belt and completely forgot his seat is click tight, so the seatbelt was already in use for installation. We were ready to go, so I didn’t want to take the time to switch to the latch and still haven’t. Now that you all have me thinking about it, I need to do it this week.

Both of my kids buckle themselves into their car seat and O can unbuckle. 5-point harness for life!

klong11 thank you for reminding me about the Target car seat deal. I was supposed to do that last week with M2’s seat and forgot. I have been waiting to find the Graco 4ever at the price I got the one for Mh’s car, but no stores want to sell it at that price again.🙄 with the discount I’ll only pay about $15 more so whatever.

Check Walmart prices too.
Target is doing 20% and Walmart is doing $30 off. So you might compare to see which one gets you the seat cheaper.

I have back to school night for the middle 2 today. My sister suggested we ditch it and go for pedicures. That is very tempting. Since I have to go to 2 classes, I basically see so little of each they it’s useless.

Well, Target’s event ended this weekend. 😩 guess I’ll be waiting for a 20% off discount. With my extra 5% it would get me within$5 of the price I paid for the first seat.

Got the play room reworked and the last bit of laundry put away. Still need to fold the 6 month onesies and get them put away. Talked to transportation and I need to fill out the online form to switch it. Got a bunch of groceries for easy lunches for the boys.

Morning! It’s H’s first day of preschool... finally! Looking forward to 2.5 hours to myself. Although, my project today is to get rid of the fruit flies in my kitchen... help! They started a month or more ago i think because of bananas, and I did the Apple cider vinegar trick which mostly got rid of them. But now, the last week or 2, we have them back and I’m not sure where they are coming from! So I’m going to be scrubbing every surface today. Ugh. Any other suggestions? A bit of wine in a glass, covered with plastic wrap poked with holes. I was thinking this, too slenle . I usually put a little dish soap in, as well...makes it sticky and helps keep them in. Also, clean your sink drains really well, too. If you have some bleach pour that down there with lots of hot water. They can lurk in there. |

I’m currently sitting at BWW by myself waiting on dinner. I’m halfway home from STL. I got to visit my grandparents today. It was so good and sweet but also sad. Their eyes lit up when they saw me walk in and had huge smiles (we didn’t tell them I was coming in case I didn’t have time to stop by). They are in an assisted living facility. When we got there they were at a musical entertainment thing. It was so cute watching all the old people sing and dance with the musician. But my poor grandpa is in a lot of pain all the time. And I had the same 3 conversations with my grandma multiple times in the 2 hours I was there. It’s hard to see them like that. But I think my visit made their day so that was good.
It’s been weird traveling without S. She’s always with me. But also a nice break! Tomorrow we have her annual IEP meeting. I’m actually looking forward to it because we’ve seen a lot of progress out of her lately and I’m curious to hear everyone else’s thoughts too. And to put a new plan into action with new goals.

And ran a cleaning cycle on the dishwasher. I told Dh if they aren’t gone by the weekend, I’m burning down the house lol. |

It’s been a crazy busy day and I was on my feet all day. My bump is killing me, like my insides and skin hurt from being stretched all day.... such a weird pain. Looking forward to bedtime!

slenle, did you check all your dry goods in your pantry? Awhile back we had little bugs that looked just like fruit flies and they were laying eggs in our dry goods, like flour, and multiplying. If even one was left behind (and they'd hide in the tiniest spots), they'd pop back up. It was disgusting.

My 2 year old alone is going to eat me out of house and home. Kid just downed 2 tacos(meat mixed with a little cheese, cut up spinach, and avocado) and about a half cup of corn and brought me his plate and said “more, please!”. He definitely eats way more than the 5 year old.

How do you possible find that without just throwing everything out? We tossed soooooo much and scrubbed every single tiny space in our whole kitchen. I'm still haunted by it. MIL said you can bring one in like if you go to the park and one gets on your sweater or something (I think they like wool too) and then you go inside and it just flys into your pantry? I don't know, but ew. |

Hi!! Sorry for the late check-in!
Our little lady Kate arrived at 3pm! 8 lb 6 oz and made a speedy arrival once I got the epidural at 5cm...I wasn't sure it was working bc I was still in a lot of pain and 20 min later she was out. My doctor had to run from surgery to make it.
Kids don't know yet and will come after school tomorrow. She is as cute as a newborn button🥰
