You guys I’m so annoyed. MH was supposed to be gone overnight and he just texted me that they’ve finished their task, left the field and is coming home. He’ll get home close to 12:30, make a shit ton of noise even though he’s trying to be quiet, take a shower and I’ll have to smell the shower humidity while I’m trying to sleep, which is one of my most closeted pet peeves.
So yay for a known upcoming interrupted sleep. I hate when they do this.

Daily showers here unless it's been an extraordinarily busy day. They usually shower themselves. We used to do hair every other night but it's easy for them to do nightly now that it's short.

Major meltdown after school today. Poor Cass. Finally got her to chill out. I feel more justified pulling them out of school this early for Family Funday on Thursday (we're going to the state fair and Boyz II Men concert).

We are having an eventful evening. Giant storm came through with like 70mph winds and tornados. The tree in our front yard was bent to like 90 degrees. Insanity. We are safe, and hopefully not too much damage in the morning to discover. There is debris all over my front porch from my hanging baskets and other leaves that have blown over.

C bathes every other night except in the summer since he’s sweaty. If he does more than every other in the cooler weather his eczema really flares. He’s almost ready to shower on his own and that will be a game changer.

I'm excited to meet the baby and see the kids in their new role, just savoring this time before it's chaos around here until we adapt to the new normal. Also I had not thought about the details of what labor entails until recently and not excited about that, just want to get to the other side. |

Are you all bathing your kids daily? Absolutely. ETA: Being from the south, baths were and still are a daily thing for me. It never occurred to me until college that people didn’t bathe daily. I very rarely go without a nightly shower. If I leave the inside of my house, I’m showering. Same goes for the kids. I don't understand how adults can go without a daily shower. Once in a while on a really lazy weekend day where I'm just lounging around the house I might not shower, but typically I shower each night during the week and mornings on the weekend (based on my workout schedule). |

Add us to the bath daily list. It's part of our routine and I think helps calm her as well as let her know it's close to bed time. The only time they don't happen is weekends, if it's late, then she gets one the next morning. Her hair is crazy, so it gets washed daily as well. trtlcrzy my H is staying in between Omaha and Sioux City. He said there was a tornado in Sioux Falls last night. Crazy weather up there! Stay safe! |

I cannot wake up without a shower. I shower every morning and evenings when I have TKD. I only wash my hair once though.
Longest I've gone without a real shower was 11 days. #neveragain 🤮🤮🤮

I must shower in the morning. Very rarely I can get another day without washing my hair but I still shower. I would never wake up.

Except my H is the same. Because he is greasy and sweaty when he gets home most days, he showers as soon as he gets home. He's been known to take 3 showers in one day. One in the morning, after work, then after softball. Whatever, just don't come to bed sweaty and gross! And then also take a shower again in the morning. |

I dont either. I grew up and still have a cistern so limited water. And in my teen years and early adult I reacted to water. I got covered in hives everytime I showered. We changed every product possible and tried different water sources. It was just all water. The hotter it was the faster I was covered. And it took hours to go away so I just limited how much I was in water. |

I don't work out regularly so I shower normally every other day. I don't have time for my hair on a daily basis.. I normally wear down and then a ponytail day. Basically I'm lazy.
