I have jinxed myself by talking about how I’m so lucky C sleeps through the night. He came down with a cold last night and was up 800 times. Big guys are at hockey practice now. I’m making good on DD’s Birthday present from June and taking her and her friend indoor skydiving today. DS has his first game later which I thought was a home game but it’s an hour away so I won’t make it back with DD in time to go.
What’s everyone else up to?

Morning! I'm hung over. MH is at boot camp and then I might force myself to go after him. We have my niece today and overnight. We are hosting a brunch tomorrow so I need to finalize the menu, shop and prep.

Lazy morning here. We opened a package of fake snow mixwe got as a birthday present from one of the kids parties and they’re going to town with it.
We have some outside stuff to take care of today and then we’ll go out to dinner.

DH is flying around lunchtime, and we’re going to do *something* afterwards (unsure of what) to get the kids out. Football this evening; we promised B hibachi to celebrate the first week of school so we’ll do that either tonight or tmrw.

I was up until 1 decorating the house and the cake for today. I need to get chili in the crock pots and get a shower. And MJ needs a bath. We're going to the open house at our fire station today then his party is after.

Morning. I'm up working for a system release..I'm done with my testing but have to be the one to update the website once everything is done, so stuck til everyone else is done. Probably a low-key day here, Costco/target are in our future. We have two events tomor afternoon and I need to bring a tailgate side and an adult dessert.. otherwise baby prep and recovering from the week.
Anyone have a baby monitor rec that is under $100? Our Motorola won't hold a charge after 6 years and we don't want to deal with WiFi..

My contractors are back today putting weather stripping on the doors and hopefully haul away the trash on my patio.
Then we have a birthday party at the pool around 4. I think I might have to get in this time because it’s hot as balls already.

Hi. We’re on our way to MOA for the day. We have free passes to crayola experience and the underwater adventure place so the kids are excited.
I’ve reached the point of needed nasal strips at night to breath (and not snore). But that along with switching to Zantac. (thank you to whoever suggested that) is helping me sleep so much better the last few nights, it’s amazing.
So far, the first few days of school went well. Yesterday was the best day and N came off the bus proclaiming “no crying today, mom!” Lol.

tallb You can replace the batteries in them. I did that with LO’s when it didn’t hold a charge longer then 10 minutes. It cost like $25

I’m soaking in the tub right now. The kids and I got our flu shots last night since I had to go pick up LO’s vaccination records.
E and I are going to target then the grocery store. Then C works and I’m doing laundry.
LO songs on church tomorrow so LO, E and I are going to that.

Morning.
I’ve been trying to keep up on the dailies but work has been nuts this week, with cutbacks they’ve officially cut the position of the retired coworker which means that the three of us have to pick up all the slack. Also, we’ve been let go early a few times because there have been a few sightings of bed bugs. It’s past the point of gross and I just want everyone to go the fuck home and inspect their house cause it’s obvious that someone is bringing them in. Yuck.
Low key weekend for us, I’m letting this kids be lazy and watch tv right now while i meal plan and make the grocery list.

Morning.
We have a busy day planned. We just got to the children’s museum for community helpers day. The Daniel Tiger exhibit is leaving after this weekend, so I wanted to bring them to the event since we are members. After a couple hours here we are headed to fitness fest. It’s free and will have a lot for the kids, so I chose this over paying for Paw Patrol live.
Hopefully it wears the kids out and I get early bedtime tonight.

Morning! We had coffee with friends today and ds made a nasty fall on his arm. He turned white as a sheet. He could put pressure on it and move it in every direction, but the drained face had me worried. Took about an hour before some colour was back in his cheeks. We’re keeping a close eye on him. Oh and I spend an exorbitant amount of money on new winter shoes for Dd. I’ve been eying them for 18 months now and pulled the trigger. I still feel guilty, but I loooooooove them!  |

Hiiiii! Checking in after one of those insanely long 4-day weeks. We're settling into our new schedule now that Col is taking the bus from home, so DH stays with him and I bring Chase to and from daycare. Work is nuts but that's nothing new.
Soccer started today and DH brought the boys so I could go to the first fall session of running group. He wanted me to have lunch ready for the boys when they got home but I had extra time so I took apart our fridge and cleaned it up so nicely. Because what else would you do with free time and an empty house to yourself? Sigh.
Col has a birthday party this afternoon and his first session of fall ball tomorrow, which he's super excited about. Baseball is still his favorite, for sure.

B woke up bright and early at 6:10am and he’s a beast now at 12:20. I’ve had enough of this shit so he wasn’t allowed to go with MH on errands and I’ve put him in his room with the lights off and sound machine on. I’m also sitting in here...
I’m having major flashbacks of when he was 2yo..
Meanwhile, J jumped into her bed, said I need a nap and told me to get out.
These two could not be more opposite.

Hey ladies! Catching up. I seen too only be able to get here late at night or weekends. We had a busy week with going to a baseball game, girls night, and then fireworks last night. Our town is holding its homecoming festival and did the fireworks last night but tonight we are going for rides. I'm forcing MH to go since it's usually just me at these things. I swear people probably think we're divorcing but really he's just antisocial and doesn't take the kid somewhere he isn't going to enjoy. You think I effing get enjoyment out of touch a truck that isn't just that my kid is enjoying it?

Hey! Busy day for us. This morning we went to the SF marathon expo because they had a youth dash that I signed H up for. It was fun for her but nuts in there with all the people. Then we came home for lunch and then turned right back around and I took H to a classmate’s birthday party. It was a drop off party so while she was there I ran to Menards to get supplies for my drywall repair job. S is napping right now and after she wakes up we are going downtown to Germanfest as long as it’s not raining. Cute boots nam2013I’m glad that asshole has been caught tgrimes |

I've gone down the rabbit hole of trying to figure out family picture outfits (yaaaaaaay). They're in 2 weeks, and next weekend I'll be in Nashville for my college-friends-reunion-trip, so I need to get it figured out before I leave. I was originally going to do more summery colors since our last family pics were very fall-ish, but now I'm worried we'll look goofy and I should do more fall. Or transitional, at least. It's just still so darn hot out.
This is why we only do pics every couple years...

flamingo I find 1 outfit for someone (usually LO or E) and the. Go from there. Living in SoCal it’s hard to do any season but summer but we try anyway.
