We need to do family pics again. Last time I scheduled a family shoot was before M2. We did get a few family ones with his newborn pics, but you could barely see his face in them.

Hi. I’m alive. My first week of my new job is in the books. It was an extremely exhausting 4-day week but i was certain that i was where I’m supposed to be. Today we went apple picking for the highly coveted honey crisp variety. I guess I’ll have to make apple pie this week because we have a ton of apples now! This afternoon we played with the neighbors and now mh is watching his game. tgrimes if you need a free stream, text me. |

Long day but it was lovely out. Target has a promo on baby stuff, so loaded up on diapers, wipes, soap, etc. The pickup order functionality really cuts down on impulsive purchases. But then we went to Costco and bought all the things..I even got j a fleece and a windbreaker that I won't be heartbroken over if he loses at school. Then we had no actual dinner options so we went to chipotle and sweetfrog.. I am going to try to organize a few things now before I totally crash..
I am bummed Serena lost too..I didn't watch but did watch Michigan almost completely blow it. Yikes.

Yes we saw the tail end of the Serena match at the hibachi place (we could see the TV in the bar area from our table). I saw Meghan Markle was there and now apparently the internet is in an uproar b/c she left the baby to attend.:eyeroll: She cannot win for losing lately. I like Rafael Nadal so I'm interested in the final tomorrow (Federer is my favorite, though, I love his cardigans  ) |

flamingo I find 1 outfit for someone (usually LO or E) and the. Go from there. Living in SoCal it’s hard to do any season but summer but we try anyway. Yeah I was trying to avoid buying new clothes for err'body but it seems like it's inevitable, lol. We all have plenty of clothing, just nothing that's coming together well for pics. nam2013 maybe I will try and post some options/color schemes at least tmrw. |

I’m not a huge fan of posed pictures but I am also in very few pictures because I’m the one taking them so maybe we should do some. flamingo have you ever done any in Maine? If not that would be pretty cool sometimes since it’s a big part of your life and you could look all New Englandey. |

Yes, we did them there one summer  I wanted to do it again this year but mH was only able to come up for a few days and it was over July 4th, so it didn't work out with the photographer we'd used before (that I really like). It's great taking pics there in the summer b/c it's not miserable out, lol. |

Dh and I went to a fancy steakhouse for dinner and it’s next to a nice hotel. Apparently it’s where the Steelers are staying before the game tomorrow night and there were some players there. I could not believe how big these guys were! It was startling.
I’m still so tired from my work retreat this week. It was amazing. We had great content this year and it went off without a hitch. I’m pretty proud of myself for planning it. Especially since it will likely be our last for a few years due to the predicted huge budget cut this year. Because of that though we made the most of it after hours and partied in Newport until 1 and then me and the girls lounged in my suite (the Chief gave me his as a thank you) until 4 am. It was worth it though.
We have no plans for tomorrow but the weather looks good so maybe a long bike ride. I still get dizzy sometimes since the vertigo and haven’t biked since so I’m hoping I’ll be good now.

I wish I didn’t agree to work tomorrow. M2 didn’t let me sleep in today so I could really use the extra sleep tomorrow.
On a funny/not so funny note... M2 watches M give Siri commands and he will sometimes try to give her commands, too. It’s pretty funny because you can’t really understand what he is screaming at her, but then she will randomly say back.... just so we’re clear, you want me to call so and so? :::me lunging toward him to grab the iPad::: NOOOOOO!

Hmmm the pediatrician had me take Chase in for his flu shot at Col's 5 year check-up. I'd better schedule that soon, it already feels late, I'd hate to get shut out until after Thanksgiving.

Morning! I ran this morning and was about to start lifting when the boys both woke up to use the bathroom. Colin is good about playing solo but Chase was in our room more often than not. I'd feel bad since DH had been trying to rest, but I had got up extra early because he said he was going to the gym. Spoiler alert: he didn't go anywhere. You'd think I would learn.
Anyhow we're going to the grocery store in a bit and Colin has his first fall ball clinic this afternoon. I need to make a batch of my Mom's barbeque sauce since we finally ran out of hers. Other than that, Col has a collage to make for school and we need to keep the boys from killing each other. That's about it.

She slept well she has a slightly elevated temp this morning and is in a much better move. I've gone down the rabbit hole of trying to figure out family picture outfits (yaaaaaaay). They're in 2 weeks, and next weekend I'll be in Nashville for my college-friends-reunion-trip, so I need to get it figured out before I leave. I was originally going to do more summery colors since our last family pics were very fall-ish, but now I'm worried we'll look goofy and I should do more fall. Or transitional, at least. It's just still so darn hot out. This is why we only do pics every couple years... I think summery colors would still be appropriate. |

Morning! We had fun at Germanfest, but it was chilly. It sprinkled a couple of times but that was all. H woke up in the night throwing up, it’s def a GI bug. We were supposed to go to the IL’s for lunch but cancelled because of H. We didn’t have anything else planned for today so I’m ok with it.

wedding i got a job in the district i was working in as a teacher coach. And yes he is still “consulting” if you want to call it that. I’m giving him a few more weeks then we are gonna have to have a ctj talk.
