lahdeedah Yes I love it all. I'm so happy with how it turned out, the floors and the kitchen are my fav one day then the next I love the change in the bathrooms. If you're coming to Banff please bring more than weekend luggage cause I promise you'll extend your vacation.

wedding Are you looking for a lighter gray than Stonington? That's what you have in your room IIRC?

wedding Are you looking for a lighter gray than Stonington? That's what you have in your room IIRC? Stonington reads a bit too blue in other parts of the house. We don’t get a ton of natural light the way our house faces so I wanted something a little lighter but less blue undertones.

I have a sample of Classic Gray but it’s in the white family and too light. I have a bunch of colors in between coming soon from samplize.

Grey Owl and Silver Chain are really nice true greys, and my experience with the Silver Chain is that it'll read darker in some areas like corners but doesnt have any undertones.

I did have a sample of Silver Chain but it may be too dark. I have Gray Owl coming and a few others.

Nothing too exciting but I had our bathrooms repainted. We are basically painting whatever still had the builders paint because it stinks. Anytime you wipe something off of it the color pulls off so the walls look splotchy. We also had to fix the edges going to the ceiling as the house settled. I have no before pics but they were a dingy powder blue. The first one is Cs and it is two shades darker than ours and I like his better. His is Buxton Blue and ours and the half bath downstairs are Yarmouth Blue.

Question for anyone but also paging flamingo. We have pot lights through our main floor and when I changed one recently the replacement I got that matched was this. Our space isn’t huge so I’m trying to use paint and lighting to make it brighter/lighter. Should I get something else for bulbs?

You’ve probably researched this but, I’ve spent some time with lightbulbs lately when picking ours for the bathroom and learned that lumens are more important than wattage. There can be the same watts but lumens differences for brightness.

You’ve probably researched this but, I’ve spent some time with lightbulbs lately when picking ours for the bathroom and learned that lumens are more important than wattage. There can be the same watts but lumens differences for brightness. What did you end up getting? And I assume the higher the lumens the brighter they are? ETA: I just read up on it and what I have has yellow undertones and my walls are a beige yellow so that may be an issue. I’m going to try a little cooler bulb and see what happens. I should probably settle the lights before the paint!
