Hey, sorry I am terrible at checking in. I have thought about you all a lot lately now that our littles are starting turn one. Happy belated birthday to little brennaMy LO turned one last Friday (8/30) and it’s so hard to wrap my head around the fact he is a year old already. It just doesn’t seem possible. |

Oy I'm the worst. Generally DS is doing great but he's been really sick the past week. He's crawling, pulling up, eating tons of table foods and still putting away 30 oz of formula a day.   |

Hello everyone! I can't believe Ollie is 10 months already! He is crawling around and pulling up on everything. No steps yet but he can stand for a few seconds. He loves cheese, playing peek-a-boo, and pulling all the DVDs off of the shelf. He is not a fan of sitting on grass or naptime. I'll try to be more active around here now that school has started up again.  |

killertofu he's so cute! I forget how old your other kid (s) is, what grade are they in? When did you start school? I would be starting today if I was back in teaching. Dd1 has been a mess this morning so I'm kind of wishing I was at school instead of home haha

Abel is doing very well, he doesn’t see the cardiologist (hopefully again until February) however he has been getting a little blue in the lips and doing some weird gasping every now and then so I am a little concerned but trying not to be.
We see EI soon, they want him evaluated where he has had major surgery he automatically qualifies so I will find out next week if they want to do any services.
We are not walking yet but he will do a step here and there just to get from one object to another.

Hi all! Sorry I’ve been so lazy about keeping up with this board, fun to pop back in and see all these cute growing kids! My Henry is great, he’ll be one on the 15th. He says a couple of words, is nearly walking, and has the sunniest little personality. He doesn’t sleep all that well but we’re working on it.  |

It’s been forever since I’ve been on! I feel like I’m rarely on the computer lately. Malcolm is 10 1/2 months old, eating everything in sight, walking, getting into everything. He’s doing everything so much earlier than L did it’s taking me by surprise.  |

 It’s been a crazy few weeks. We moved and I started back to school all in the same week. Penelope is almost one and I cannot believe it. She can walk using her push thingy. She’s starting to really eat more food. She has a handful of words “that” and “yeah” are her most common. Her big sister loves her and they are each other’s biggest fans. Things are finally starting to settle. I will try to be better about checking in. |

Happy Belated Birthday to your LOs meggriffin and mirabelle!! meggriffin - I hope the lips and breathing turn out to be nothing. Hope your DS is feeling better ftwr! LOL at doesn't like the grass killertofu. It's not DS2's favorite either! That's such an adorable smile chriskoo!! knitty - DS2 is on the move faster than DS1 was. I'm convinced it's in order to keep up with big brother. She looks like she's loving that slide akwild!! |

It's a big week around here. DS2 finally had his first tooth pop through on Tuesday and last night he took his first steps!! He was trying to reach for something and just started walking. He managed about 7-8 steps a few times last night, but he would get too excited to keep going and would fall lol.

DD is running all over the place, climbing like her sister, already wears a size 5 shoe, and has been saying "Dada", "uh oh", "hi", "bye", loves to point at everything, and really loves to scream as loud as possible. She turned 1 on August 29th and is growing so fast!  |

Thanks brenna we just finished week 3 with kids. So I can start to see the routine forming. I have a super great group of kids this year so I’m excited to see what we can really do. |

Just went to get laundry out of the washer and I had accidentally grabbed a diaper out of the diaper bag with the girls' clothes and it exploded in the wash! HUGE mess! I guess my washer probably needed a cleaning anyways but it's not exactly what I want to do on my Saturday night...

I guess my washer probably needed a cleaning anyways but it's not exactly what I want to do on my Saturday night... This happened to us this summer! M put a pull up in her hamper that I tossed in the washer. It was surprisingly ok. The dryer got most of the fuzz off and I just ran the washer on the sanitize cycle empty and it cleaned out. |

I love seeing all these old names and cute baby faces!!
I've been exhausted with commuting for DD's school. I have to wake up at 6 and still manage to be late everyday for 8:30. It's so hard getting us all ready AND packed for the entire day since I have to stay in the city by her school all day to save gas. The traffic is horrendous to and from everyday.
BUT she loves her amazing school and is doing so well. That makes it so worth it. For a kid who has never been in any school before and only with me for 4 years then school for 6.5 hours 5 days a week, she has really transitioned well and no tears.
DS wont turn one for about a month and a half. Really trying to plan his Halloween party. He's starting to turn into a real toddler, learning, talking, running, climbing. I love this stage.

For another random, DS and I seem to have thrush.
I managed to avoid it for the 17 months I nursed DD and for 10 months of DS's life. But now we got it. My left nipple is killing me. His pediatrician didn't even think that's what it was since he was no longer an infant, but it's pretty clear to me. I hope we get rid of it soon!

I think I had to wash the load like 3 times to get everything clean. |
