We took the kids to the childrens museum today. They had lot of fun, but man is it expensive IMO. A is napping,, L is watching a show on the iPad, so I'm resting before DH and I tackle cleaning the office Our children's museum is around $50-60 for us to go but $80 for a family membership for the year so family membership for the win (though guessing this is pretty cheap for other areas). Also, they're right by the hospital I work at/A was born at and provide free passes for families who are in the hospital. So nice for the families with siblings. On L's 2nd birthday we took her to the hospital to visit A and then went there. Random thoughts brought to you from my wine brain. You're welcome. |

We divided and conquered this morning and got a ton of errands done then met back at home for lunch.
While J was napping B played lego and watched a show while I got his school supplies ready and started the daunting task of going through their keepsakes bins organizing and updating them. It’s not a fun task but about another 30 minutes and I’ll be done, thank heavens.

Pipsqueak enjoys Lana del Rey, I’m finding. He just yawned and it’s about the cutest thing I have ever seen. If I am productive enough this afternoon, I am totally taking him out in his stroller tonight.  |

The party was fun but super hot. It was over 100 degrees. I was hoping to take the kids to the park tomorrow morning but I don’t think I can take another hot day of chasing both kids.

Boating with my brother and his wife was a success. Everyone had fun and at least took a quick dip in the lake, no one got sunburned, and my brother let the kids take turns "helping" him drive us in at the end of the day. Chase only got about a 45 minute nap and is a total beast, so it may be an early night.

In a moment of pure genius (if I may say so) I put the TV from the playroom on the back porch so I could keep an ear on football while I watched the kids swim. After 2+ months of refusing to go past the steps, C decided a few weeks back to be a waterbug again, so the pool has been much more enjoyable for her (and now B has a playmate). She is a funny one. It's like there was a little explosion in terms of her growth and development this summer, it's been cool to watch. I already think of her as 3 b/c she's changed so much  Anywho. We had leftovers for dinner, they're bathed and in jammies, and in 8 minutes I am starting bedtime! |

Happy birthday yummeecookee! I came home from work and took an hour nap. Hopefully this doesn’t mess with me falling asleep tonight too much. My niece is here to help watch the girls after I go to bed while DH goes to a fantasy football draft. The high today was 65, so I guess it’s fall now. |

I started Derry Girls tonight. I’ve been holding off because I thought it was about roller derby. My brain just decided that because Netflix also has a show about women’s wrestling (GLOW) that Derry Girls was was also sports related and Derry sounds like Derby.

Hi hi - it was a stunning afternoon at my dad's and it was pretty hard to say goodbye. J was a total jerk bc he wanted to play inside and we forced him to play outside 🙄. I somehow ended up with a trunk full of random toys, books, etc. For either our kids or to donate to daycare/schools. My SM who doesn't cry broke down after the kids were buckled in and said goodbye 💔. Mh was smart enough to get a bump pic on the beach to prove this baby had been at this house too..also like the only bump pic of this pregnancy, ha.

We had a good low key day. The boys are in Grammy heaven. M requested Mexican for lunch, so we did that, then home where M2 fought a nap while playing. I got my solo Lowe’s trip🙃 and after we took the boys to the park so M could catch tadpoles. It was nice out. M2 promptly fell asleep in the car on the way, so he got a park nap in the shade under the trees.

Morning. I'm at work and it's been pretty quiet. It's supposed to be warmer outside today, which is nice. DH might take the girls up to my sister's IL's lake cabin today but he hadn't decided last night if he was going to or not. I don't plant to do anything too crazy this afternoon.

Morning! Home from camping. We really wanted to stay for another 3-4 hours, but dd felt a little warm and when I checked she had a 103 fever... we quickly packed up the tent and drove home. Hopefully it’s nothing bad.

Morning! I slept in a bit and we are just hanging out before going to my parents house this afternoon. I need to run and grab veggies and hummus to bring for an appetizer, hoping it helps keep me out of junk!

Sorry for the tough day tallb. Beautiful pics. Is this your dad’s full-time home or a vacation place they’re selling? I know I will be a mess when my parents downsize 😭 It's their full time home, so all holidays and parties have been there for the past 20 years..starting with my 15th bday, prom pix for my grade, engagement, baby showers, etc. It will be a second home for the buyers and have some renovations planned😳 |

I don’t know that I’ll ever be able to drive by it once they sell...just won’t be the same. I can’t even bring myself to drive by *our* old house in FL, and we were in it less than 3 years 😂 I’m probably way too attached to this type of thing! |

I went away to college and my parents sold our house and moved so the first time coming home they were in a different house. It was so weird.

I was born in that house! I was picked up by Dh on my wedding day from that house (Dutch tradition). Plus that I would be able to see other people in there on a daily basis since we live around the corner. |
