Morning! Getting ready for work. I need to leave in about 10 minutes. So for the weekly note from the yeah she said she had some task for service hours (we have to do 50). I volunteered for all of them and then offered to setup all the kids iPads for her as well. I’m hoping to get as many done before school kicks up for me so that I can dial it back when my school gets crazy.

Morning! Both kids were in school today. My hair turned incredibly yellow during the summer so I made a Hairdressers appointment this morning. It looks a lot better  . My parents are leaving for vacation tomorrow, so I invited them over for dinner tonight. That way they don’t have to think about cooking or cleaning the night before they leave. I really need to clean, but I have 0% motivation to do so. |

Morning! Have fun at Meet the Teacher guster! Nothing exciting here again, just work. I feel like my life is so boring! Does anyone watch Mindhunter on Netflix? I started it Monday night and am not impressed. Someone please tell me it gets better or I'll give up on it. |

mwhip season one? I haven’t seen the second season yet, but loved the first one! Yes, season one. I turned it on Monday night and realized I had previously watched the first 2 episodes, but got bored with them, so I watched them again. It's so slow. But I feel like the weird guy in Season 1, the ADT guy in KS, is based off the BTK killer from Wichita, so that kind of pulls me in since it is so close to home. |

Morning.
Kids at school. I’m at home with coffee in hand. More organizing on my agenda today.
I need to figure out if we are making the drive for our first football game. It’s in ATL and I’ve been all for it until this week. Turns out the game isn’t in the indoor stadium like I thought and it would be a 6 hour drive by myself with the boys for a weekend trip. I’m leaning on not even making it. My mom May come visit if we don’t go. Decisions, decisions.

lahdeedah a 6 hour drive with the kids sounds terrible to me, but my kid gets pretty bored in the car, so my opinion is based off her behavior. If the boys do good on a road trip, then I'd go for it, it will be fun!

mwhip, yes, it's BTK. They cover his story more in Season 2, but not at the forefront, kind of as a background storyline while they cover the main one. I never thought Season 1 was slow, but found a few moments in Season 2 to be unnecessary. It gets better, stick with it.

I've got drainage from hell this morning. So, I guess what Cadence had/has is a cold and now I have it. I knew I should have bought those Airborne gummies when I was at Walgreens the other day. So I'm just here, at me desk, sipping hot coffee, trying not to fall asleep at my desk.
Back to School night is tonight. Luckily the after school program will still be functioning so Cadence can stay there while we do the school stuff.

Morning.
I had a massage last night so i’m a little sore today, but overall i’m happy with going to her. I also have booked a chiro appointment for next week, they’re 100% covered with my benefits so it costs me nothing but so many appointments. Getting old sucks.
My Mom is staying with the kids today, so they were both still sleeping when I left. Who knows what kind of shenanigans the three of them will get up to.

I’m taking my 2 oldest to a water park today. My nephew and his girlfriend are meeting us. It’s overcast and not as warm as I’d like but I’m hoping that means it won’t be too crowded. They give you a free return ticket if they have to close for weather so we are taking the chance.

Morning. I’m going to attempt heading into the cities to take both kids back to school shopping. Considering it hurts to walk to the mailbox, I’m going to be very sore later. But at least a lot of schools started back this week so hopefully the mall will be quieter. And then my parents asked to have the kids overnight before N starts school so I’ll drop them off there on my way home, and we’re having our friends with the newborn over for dinner. Should be a good day!

Hiiiii! Can I jump back in? mwhip we watch Mindhunter, just finished Season 2. I liked 1 but it took me a bit to get into it. 2 was great...I made DH stay up with me til about 1 one night to finish. eta: the other one we've been binge-watching lately is Line of Duty. It's a (fictional) British show about an Anti-Corruption department in the London police. Really good! |

My in laws are watching both kids for me so I'm at work. I called daycare and they have not received any reports of chicken pox or HFM. I sent a text to M's teacher and called the school. I'm waiting on a return call from the immunologist's nurse. H's speech therapist said she'd still see him tomorrow afternoon at our house, as long as he doesn't have a fever.

I found motivation. Aka ‘couldn’t put the laundry away because the closets where too full’ I purged 4 trash bags of my clothes & put away 1 of kids clothes.

I love mindhunter. I will say the first couple episodes were a little slow with the character development, but the second season I didn’t want to stop.

I kind of teared up at dropoff today. I'm being so extra about J's teacher for the day, but whatever. Thankfully his puppy cupcake toppers arrived right before mh left to pickup donuts and chipotle lunch. He should be fetching me soon too to go in for lunch.
I also picked up J's stainless steel water bottle that he left at my friend's house last month and apparently it's been recalled. Check if you have a contingo one with black kid parts..

My old coworkers FaceTimed me earlier, I almost wanted to cry. I miss them so much. 😩
I just organized the few boxes of stuff we put in the built-ins in the living room. I need to go rummage through some boxes outside to see what else I can move into them.

flamingo I was wondering when you’d show up again. Did your kids start school? I wish! We don't go back til the day after Labor Day here (insert :slowly being driven crazy: emoji) I'm so jealous seeing all the kids already back, lol. I have loved seeing all the N13 pics! DH left today for a couple weeks out on the boat. Today we have both kids' orientation sessions, and we will get to meet B's bus driver! She called on Monday to introduce herself. We ended up in the afternoon K session, which is fine...I didn't have a strong preference either way. Apparently the teacher he has is fantastic and is the one everyone requests, so I'm interested to see what she's like! We are going to a pool party tomorrow hosted by a MOPS friend and he will get to meet a couple classmates, so that will be good. |
