Hi my name is lfig, and I have a shopping problem.... I just went into Walgreens to kill time before Sierra’s OT appt because we got to town early. I spent 20 minutes browsing and spent $100. WHAT’S WRONG WITH ME?! That was me three weeks ago in target. Only it was $160. And the $120 at carters and gap last week. The worst 🤦🏼♀️. |

tgrimes good to know, thanks! I'm getting a couple quotes right now to have the kitchen cabinets refaced within the next 6 months, but that's a 1-2 day job that we could totally live around. But i figure the other stuff would be quicker, easier and less stressful if we're not around. I'm going to try and plan it for when MH is away as well, somehow he seems to take on the stress of the jobs that he's not even doing and it's so annoying to me. What is involved in refacing? Painting? I hate mine and thought maybe we would just paint them but then I want to add hardware and that wouldn't match the hinges.. No, it's not painting. They change the cabinet doors, and hinges but keep the actual cabinets. Also, they change the side paneling that is around an island or ends of the cabinets. It's a really inexpensive option when there isnt space to change the footprint of the kitchen. not my kitchen, but this is a good example  |

Back from the mall: not totally successful — no full outfits, lots of random leggings, lots of random sweaters (at least those go with jeans, too many silly accessories and 7 pairs of shoes (I wanted boots for her and ended up with only one pair of booties). Looks like I’ll need to do an online shop to make some outfits.
I got suckered into build a bear(UO: I hate this place, their products, and all the extras but we’ve only done it once before so I thought it’d be okay to try it again), the carousel, and the Cheesecake Factory.

4 hours at the zoo and I'm beat. I'm nursing MJ then we're headed home. We're going out for tacos and margaritas tonight with some friends. So I need to get cleaned up and rest up.

Hi! WFH today. After the reduced workweek denial I got approved for 2 days a week at home. Assuming no issues that saves me $$$ on before and after care, to mention L gets more time at home before and after school  It's supposed to rain today. That's all for me. Happy Tuesday! New mattress is here and it seems comfy! I made the bed with new sheets and our old duvet, which is pathetic..so researching what type I want to buy. Of course all the sales are over so will force myself to wait.. clearly super productive with work. Also my dad's house may get an offer, which has been a possibility since they have been trying to sell for a while, but 😭 if they actually move. I'll be so sad to say goodbye when the time comes. What kind of mattress did you go with? |

I’m not at all caught up here. 😢
Things have been nuts. I had trouble getting Pete to commit to a custody schedule (we are 70:30, with me getting 70), and he was arguing ever taking the kids. That seems to have been resolved, but it continues to be a big challenge navigating everything.
I just finished my culminating project for study abroad and feel good about it, I should end up with an A for both classes. As such, I think I will be able to keep up here now.

What kind of mattress did you go with? We tried the tulo (which I didn't mind) but switched to a king Stearns and foster through Costco which was on sale last month. Firm but a pillow top which the machine at mattress warehouse said would be best for us. We shall see! |

@trrlcrzy, nope. The only sneakers I got were fashion ones but I ordered the Saucony jazz ones from Amazon earlier in the summer but I haven’t had Josie wear them anywhere yet.
I figure she can use them on gym days (which I think it only once a week)
We have had Nikes in the past, and they do work for Josie because she has a very narrow foot. I feel like the new balance and the saucony have a wider toebox if you need a wider shoe.

We had a busy day. Went to the outdoor campus for classes for both girls. That was fun for them. Then after lunch we met at the pool with our friends for probably the last time this summer. We also ended up walking to the nearby park too.

I just bought this and used it to get rid of some light fine hairs on my jawline. I wasn't sure how it'd do on the upper lip where my hair is definitely darker and more full (ew). |

Then at Old Navy I got the ones that have dinosaur spikes and a pair that have a unicorn horn. |

Another vote for the tinkle razors. And my biggest secret is that I keep a pair of tweezers in my car. It’s amazing how those little hairs
sprout on the side of my upper lip and under my chin.

I don’t know if I have a made this up this but it doesn’t feel as sharp to me so I don’t worry about cutting myself. I think putting the 4 blade gillette or Venus near my lip would result in a bloodbath. |

Daycare called me at 4. H had a low grade fever. When I got home it was 102.5. I checked his ears but I can’t see in his right one very well because there’s some wax in the way. He’s not really snotty either.
Augh. There was croup in the baby class. He hasn’t coughed though.
