It stormed all night here. We were supposed to go swimming at my friends but now the water will be to cool. So we're going to the zoo. It may still rain a little but we'll probably have the whole place to ourselves this way.
What's everyone else got going on?

Me: my kid wakes at about 6 each day. I'm not worried about him waking up for school

Got a text yesterday asking me to work today, so here I am. It’s MH’s first day taking M to school so I hope that went well because he was not up as early as I usually get up to take him.

Hi! WFH today. After the reduced workweek denial I got approved for 2 days a week at home. Assuming no issues that saves me $$$ on before and after care, to mention L gets more time at home before and after school  It's supposed to rain today. That's all for me. Happy Tuesday! Yay! Glad they gave you a little more leeway. Hope this schedule is better. |

I'm at work. I'm finally mailing my insurance appeal today. I've been waiting on a letter from the the GI and he's been on vacation. How dare him take time off!

The baseboards are done in all of our rooms and the hallway. It's crazy what a big difference it makes. They'll probably finish the rest of the rooms today.
So much dust.

Work and home has been crazy. C and my dad replaced the toilet in our last bathroom yesterday. I did two major walks yesterday. 1 requiring two follow up meetings.
Today I’m asking my bosses to let me start at 600 from now on. That way C drops the kids off and I do pickup and we don’t have to pay for after school care.

We made it out the door on time!!!! Granted, Cadence just had to be in a swimsuit and water shoes, but still, her hair and teeth were brushed and she had her glasses on.
My alarm went off this morning and I fell back asleep. Cadence actually woke me up. Oops.

DD is still miserable so I’m taking her to the doctor at 10:30. I just came into my room and DH’s cell phone is on the bed. He left for work an hour ago. I don’t know if he even knows my phone number and I don’t know his office line...

Morning. J wet the bed again (def a correlation to constipation for him) and then was a grouch when he woke up. I am WFH bc our mattress is coming so just drove in and out of the city, thankfully it was light traffic. I have a ton to do, so hoping I'm productive. Also last week of my class🙌 a little nervous about the 3 hour final exam I have to take by Sunday night.
Oh and we signed up for a sibling hospital tour this weekend, they don't have any dates listed for Sept, so I'm glad I checked last night.

Can you shoot him an email to get his work #? *assuming he has access to a computer * The few times I have left my phone at home, when I got there, I emailed my H and let him know I didn't have it with me. Emailing was going to be my suggestion as well. |

I feel like the more I clean the more disgusting my house gets today. Clean laundry room floor? Great time for the dog to pee all over it! Clean the kitchen? Great time for C to leave the pantry open and A to dump cereal everywhere. Vacuum the couch? Go right ahead and dump a cup of milk all over it, L! Take the trash out? Of course the bag should break because I love having dirty garbage everywhere!

I'm always a smartass with these things. i want to be my normal smartass, but wonder how the teacher would take it. And is this one of those forms I'm going to see at the end of the school year and realize what an asshole I was? My child is good at: ignoring me so I have to repeat myself 5 times, pushing my buttons, spending money, stealing my phone My child doesn't like to: listen, wipe her own ass, eat her dinner in the normal alloted amount of time My child learns best by: I have no idea, that's why I'm sending her to school What are your hopes: she learns to wipe her own ass, no phone calls from the principal for bad language |
