We spent the day in Newport. Did you guys decide to go there nam2013? We had a great time walking around everywhere and decided C is ready for NYC so we are going Columbus Day weekend. I wanted to wait until he had interests outside of playgrounds and he could walk a lot and I think we are there. He’s so excited and so am I. We haven’t been since 2012 and use to go at least once a year so I miss it. It will be interesting to see it from a kids POV.

Got my replacement id, started the process to get the car turned over to me. AAA is requiring both my parents to sign the document. So we will 100% have the car on Wednesday. I got it insured. Took my boss’ car to him. It took 90 minutes to get back from his place. Did the hand wash dishes, the rest of the dishes are being washed by the dish washer and have a load of laundry going.

My dad is watching E so I can take a quick shower.

Tomorrow we are going to Disneyland so my dad can take E on a few rides before it gets busy.

We stayed at the party for over 3 hours and people were still showing up. It was definitely mostly family and family friends, but Colin had lots of fun and there was so much food! They hadn't even cut the cake yet but Col had eaten second lunch, tons of spicy fried chicken poppers, strawberries and grapes dipped in the chocolate fountain, watermelon, and an ice cream sundae. And she piled us with treats to take home, including a really delicious looking flan that I called dibs on, haha.

Needless to say, I'm half asleep and Col hit the wall hard at bedtime. DH is none too pleased and made it out like Chase was a total handful while we were gone. Except he was sleeping for at least 2 hours of that time, so I'm not buying it!

trtlcrzy I’m sorry you don’t have a real answer. I was told T was an empty sac and C’s progesterone was too low to sustain the pregnancy. Everything crossed for you right now.

I know it's like the last thing you want to do- but I would take H swimming asap. Just so he doesnt develope a fear.

Everytime I fell off a horse my mom immediately made me get back on. I wasnt allowed to go get cleaned up. Just get back on. My best friend broke her arm falling off and they made her get back on before going to the hospital. The more time that passes the harder it is to get back on.

I invited one of my sister's and her H and daughter over for a BBQ. Somehow it turned into my parents and all my sister's and their families coming so I need to clean and shop this morning!

I ordered a car seat from target yesterday. It went on sale today. I just got off wit customer service and they honored the sale price. I love saving money.

I'd have no shame in ofdering another and returning the first I'd they didn't honor it.

The other night the checkout guy rang up a video game for $20 more than what it cost. I wasn't paying attention and immediately had to go to customer service. The lady was a manager and was clearly annoyed and asked who did that.

I'm over this stupid carnival. I lost it on j when he said I needed to help get ready...as I was cleaning and making cookies. Also I was I'm the basement doing laundry and mh and MIL didn't get the cookies out of the oven even though they were BOTH in the kitchen🙄. Thank goodness it wasn't the gluten free ones that burned though!

wedding no Newport this time, we did Newport folk festival last time we were here with ds, amazing! It was high on dh’s bucket list ☺️. We on our way to Freeport now, not for shopping, for the amazing campground we found there. Then acadia, then Rockland/lincolnville, Salem and Boston to end with. Time is flying by!

Survived! Great success! His teachers were a bit late but his friend and sister were right on time. His friend wanted to play with all his toys and not follow the planned activities too much, which frustrated him a bit. We had chalk, wagon rides, beanie baby toss, hammock rides, an obstacle course in the basement, and tag out front. Then has a random lunch of kid food and fruit and sandwiches for the kids.

I probably won't post pix since I am friends with other preschool families and am not sure the teachers want others knowing they came to a kids house on the weekend and set an expectation for others. Pretty sure they are getting generous Madewell gift cards as gifts when j leaves their class in a few weeks..hope we haven't peaked in terms of awesome teachers before elementary school starts.

I'm pooped, but now must finish up some schoolwork.

Back from Disneyland we got on 8 rides and had lunch all before noon. E even did some walking around the park. My dad had fun with E so I’m glad we went.
