I slept like absolute garbage last night. I took a melatonin (with the ok of my doctor) and tossed/turned for hours. When I did finally fall asleep it was very light and not restful. It’s going to make for a long day.
TW: this morning when I went to the bathroom I wiped and there was blood. I called the after hours line on my way to work and they told me I need to be seen today because I have a history of ectopic pregnancy. Of course that means I have to go to the ER, so I guess I’ll walk over there when I get off work. So annoying that these kind of things always happen to me in the evening or on the weekend.

Morning. Woke up feeling unmotivated so I cut my run short and am relaxing in bed, post-shower. Everyone is seemingly asleep...? The kids did get to bed late but that doesn't usually translate into sleeping in.
DH and FIL will be working on the Murphy bed this morning so I'm taking Chase with me to drop Col off at his playdate, then we'll hit up Target or something to get a birthday present. DH is going to get Col and bring him to golf so I'd like to do something special for Chase. Poor kid has spent most of his summer once again watching Colin have all the fun.

Lots happening here today.
I’m making the 45 minute drive (I’d there is no traffic) to return my boss’ car. Then my dad and I are going to officially transfer his car to me. I got to replace my work ID today. Plus laundry.

Major change of plans for MH's career. He was going to get his Masters so he could teach, but in a few short days everything changed and now it's looking like he's going to take over the TKD studio. He may become the owner in a year or two. He knows he has big shoes to fill because the previous instructor was incredible. He's very out of shape and this seems like it will be the motivator he needs to get healthy.
Downsides are there's very little vacation time, he'd have to work some SATs, and he'd have to travel during tournament season. It'll be weird having MH as my instructor and change the vibe of TKD for me. I may do some solo vacations with the girls if he can't get time off.
Pros - free after school care and summer camp for the girls. Except for testing, TKD may become free for the family. The girls can always be at work with him. We love the idea of the girls growing up around the studio, the positive environment and good kids around them, and when they are teens they can help him and instruct (the HS they'll attend is basically across the street). He'll have a healthier lifestyle. Swing shift will always allow him mornings to get the girls off to school. Even though he'll work in the evenings I'm there every evening so I'll get to see him. I'll have access to the studio when it's closed to workout whenever I want. MH has a passion for teaching and working with kids and this way he'll still get fulfillment doing that just a different kind of teaching.
This is really weird for us but it looks like it's really going to happen. MH had 6 hours of intensive training yesterday (kicked his butt) and probably for around a year he'll teach half the week and the other half the week take classes from the grandmaster who's training him so he'll be as prepared as possible.
TL;DR: Instead of becoming a teacher it looks like MH is going to become a professional TKD instructor. Much change. Wow.

I've been nagging A for weeks to get his grandpa out here to rework our back hill and yard with the dozer. He finally talked to him yesterday. His grandpa brought it over immediately and was here at the crack of dawn working and it's done. Theres some rock picker upper/leveler machine we need to rent to run over everything to smooth it out but omg. It looks so good and I may have a nice yard by Christmas!
Not sure what going on today. A has committed us to plans with 3 different people and thinks we can make them all work. I think hes nuts.

MH is at boot camp. He's bringing home donuts and mimosas. We are just going to play outside and then have my nephew's birthday party. I'm glad the party is only 2 hours at a bounce house place so I don't have to hang out with his family too much (yup, I'm a bitch".

Nothing planned the rest of the weekend. I need to go through evies school supplies she already has and go get the rest. Then I need to get thr groceries we need to take to the lake Wednesday for our short vacation.

Also, when I asked SIL if she had anything she wanted/needed for nephew she said, "We don't want toys and he doesn't need clothes so idk. People don't respect our wishes anyway so just get him whatever you want". Oookkkk....
