Morning! I'm debating taking tomorrow off. I hate to use PTO when I know the office will close early. But, I have to make a dessert and salad for Thursday, plus picking up a sandwich tray, beer and ice, and I don't think I can get everything done in time, to leave our house to make it to the Royals game tomorrow. Such a hard choice!

Iβm working on the other team today. Iβm helping one of the new guys with a project. I will most likely get overtime.

Cadence had a meltdown this morning because her capri yoga pants didn't go all the way to her feet.

Doing some work before I take the boys swimming at the neighbors. I'm going to pack a lunch and hopefully swim from like 10:30 to noon. Eat there. Then naps all around!

Morning!
MH caught whatever B had last week and was sick last night. He is OOT and I feel awful for him b/c he has to work outside all day today. He said he's feeling a bit better today but hasn't eaten yet. Also, selfishly, he is supposed to come home tonight and is only home till Friday morning, when he leaves for 2 weeks. I was hopeful for him to do some quality parenting during that time but now I fear he will be holed up in bed!

S had his first day of camp yesterday. H LOVED it. I am so happy we pulled him out of DC for the summer, even with the double drop offs. They swim every day, and yesterday they gardened a bit. It sounds like it's going to be a great experience for him.

Morning. I stayed up too late again...I did pass glucose test, so that was a relief. We tried banza pasta from Costco that is made from chickpeas, and it was pretty tasty! Def recommend if want to up fiber and protein (and is gf/vegan).
What are people's thoughts on shorter curtains? I can't see any pictures of rooms styled with them, and yet Pottery Barn kids sells 63" length ones. I love how long ones look, but we don't really have a ton of space in the kids rooms and need furniture under the windows. We have curtain rods installed so I'm inclined to use them rather than take them down patch/paint. Currently we have long ones in the shared room that go behind the changing table/bookshelf and looks like a hot mess since they are too long and beige in a grey room -aka super ugly.

Is nam2013 on vacation? We didnβt βseeβ her at all yesterday. Iβm still here . I didnβt get around to posting these last couple of days. Weβre leaving Sunday the 14th, work is crazy busy & people always have the odd habit of needing to plan a before summer event, all of this makes my schedule insane at the moment.

tallb if there will be furniture under them, I donβt see why not. If there was nothing under, I think it could look funny. Did you ever talk to your SM about paint colors? I sampled SW sea salt in the guest bath and think I will love it.

Hi!
I dropped the kids off and am waiting on campus for Mβs parade. Not real sure what itβs for, but told him I would be here. After this, Iβm going work out.

jewels, thatβs awesome for S! Iβm sorry yh is sick. Hope itβs short-lived. tallb, the banza pasta is delicious! No other chickpea/lentil/black bean pasta comes close. The shells are my favorite. Also, watch for the g-life brand in Aldi. They make a fresh pasta in the refrigerator section thatβs a nice treat.

I also want to treat our teak table so it looks nicer/is protected, so that's my next non-essential job.

Morning! We are just hanging around home this morning. Actually, I might make the girls go to Loweβs which theyβll hate. Iβm trying to narrow down paint color so we can paint our house. This is the most recent sample I bought but Iβm concerned it doesnβt contrast the stone enough. (Itβs painted along the right side) This afternoon we are going swimming with friends.

trtlcrzy I think I'd go darker gray. But I'm probably partial since our house is a dark gray with white trim. I love your stonework. And your flowers are beautiful!

I'm fantasizing about a long weekend in Victoria, B.C. I was just looking up hotels and found an amazing resort that is reasonably priced. I'm going to see if my husband is game for it. We'd have to get the kids passports. Amazing hotel

tallb, that pasta sounds perfect. I'll definitely have to buy some tomorrow. I have guests coming this weekend that all have OTT diet needs. Basically they can eat vegetables and rice. Gluten-free along and plant-based foods. Is it in the dry goods section or frozen?

They were mostly just in cool old mansions for that date. The prior dates she walked though a tulip field, rode horses around the hauge (ate pickled herring, which her date spit out) and rode bikes.

Morning.
Yesterday was a chill day, MH took the kids out while I cleaned the house and in the afternoon we went to the outlet mall near the airport, so many deals, I'll have to go back alone to really check it out all the stores. I got a Kate Spade tote that I'm in love with.
But as for right now, I'm at work and have a pile of work to get to, lame.
