You guys. I am so frustrated with buying girl's clothes 😬 The fit is all different and I need different sizes in every freaking item.... It shouldn't be this difficult! I have to try 6 month shorts because the 9 month ones could seriously be taken in about 3 inches. She is seriously wearing things in sizes 6, 9 and 12 months - ALL from the same store. Apparently I have to take my baby into the store to try everything on??? Yeah! Cause that's convenient with a won't-sit-still 9 month old! And I'm sick and tired of ordering things in the size that SHOULD fit her based on their size charts, and then having to go to the damn store to return it all!! Seriously wtf?!
Does the frustration with not being able to find girl's/womens clothing that fits properly start already in babyhood????!?

Dd1 wears anywhere from a 2T-4T (and many 2T shorts fall off of her and we have to get 18-24 month shorts 😒) and dd2 has sizes 9m-18m that fit her. A lot of their clothes are Carter's and they still wear many different sizes. I just buy big and then they can always wear it later... Plus we have my niece plus like 3 other girl babies in the family so we can hopefully have at least a few of them wear whatever doesn't fit our girls.

I've never had difficulty like this with DS. There's no way she can wear the 9 month shorts I just got. Unless I have them altered. They are HUGE in the waist. And the elastic is not very stretchy at all. They literally can fall off. But I have a feeling the 6 month size will be too short in the rise! She might have to wear leggings all summer because that's all that seems to fit.

They have "drawstrings" on some but they don't actually cinch tight at all. DD was literally wearing size 12 month shorts last year when she was almost 2. It's ridiculous. I hate how so many girl shorts are almost booty shorts already because they're so short! You could maybe try some boy shorts if you want longer but I'm a smaller size.

While we're talking about clothing differences, why do girls not get to wear cozy, warm pants like boys? They mostly just have thin leggings for girl pants which are definitely not warm enough in the winter! Dd1 refuses to wear jeans or anything without a crazy pattern so finding warm pants for her has been difficult.

brenna last winter we found fleece lined leggings for M because she wears a dress and leggings everyday. They seemed slightly warmer than just plain leggings. I don’t know about crazy patterns though because I’ve just started buying basic leggings so when she picks out her outfits she doesn’t look like too much of a crazy.

I just can't battle her on clothes because there are so many other things I have to battle my strong willed child on. I've been trying to buy more solid shirts and dresses so at least she just has crazy pants on. She likes outfits like the one pictured because they "match" 😬

DD was walking around all night pushing this thing. She did pretty good too with keeping her balance! She would get so mad when she'd get stuck and would fall to the floor and immediately cry.

I only pull the don’t look crazy card when we go places that aren’t school honestly if DD keeps her clothes on for more than 10 minutes I call it a win. Next year I'm a little worried about preschool, I hope she keeps her clothes on!
