How many meals of solids are you all doing each day? We're still only doing two. I can't remember what age I started doing three with DS. We do at least 1 (dinner), and sometimes Lunch or Breakfast, depending on what we're eating and when. He eats what we eat since we're doing BLW, or sometimes just some puffs. Last night was pasta, broccoli and chicken sausage. He gets mad if I don't give him some of whatever I'm eating!

We usually just give DD whatever we're eating for dinner too. The other night I made spaghetti with sausage and I think it was a little spicy because DD took a bite and started screaming 😬

I finally told DD last night about our move and that we won't be living with her dad anymore. She appeared more upset about leaving our house and worried we'd be leaving all of our things behind. It was quite difficult. I don't think she fully understands what it will be like but I plan to check in with her a lot over the next few weeks to see how she is feeling. This won't be easy for any of us. Today we get the storage unit.

My big girl is 4 today. It’s crazy what a little kid she’s becoming. We had her party this afternoon and she had so much fun. Everyone just passed P around so she was having a fantastic time as well.

akwildSo cute! I can't believe our two kids are so close with birth dates. DD turns 4 on the 1st but her party is next Sunday. 4 seems like such a big kid. It's so crazy.

Beautiful pictures brenna! Happy Birthday to her akwild! Huge hugs pixiepink24. It will be a big change for you and your kiddos but you're a great mom and it sounds like you're doing a great job helping talk your DD through the transition.

I am so tired of being chomped on by my little baby shark! Ugh. Thankfully he hasn't gotten me hard enough to draw blood, but I'm so sore and if we're not in a dark quiet room (and sometimes even then), he gets distracted and ends up biting me multiple times a day. DD bit me all of twice and I think I scared her because I yelped so loud and she didn't do it again. This one's been biting me for weeks and cries if I react, but still does it. Him being congested yet again is not helping, either.

DramaphileWe've been having some biting issues here too. Yesterday was really rough. I ended up having to pump and give him a bottle because he wouldn't stop clamping down immediately. I think he got the hint when I stopped nursing him. It hurts so bad!

DD bites me a lot too. I ended up weaning dd1 around 9.5 months because I was getting so resentful and was dreading feeds. I'm going to try to keep going with dd2 until our trip next month and then will probably wean.

Not going to make it that long with C if this doesn't let up.

We have biting over here too. It already hurts and he doesn't even have any teeth yet. His favorite though seems to be to clamp down and pull away. It usually starts when he's done eating and is just playing around so I stop him at that point and put the boob away.

DS had his first fever today. He woke up so warm. I'm hoping everyone can be healthy by Sunday for DD's party.

My children have been PLAYING TOGETHER for the past 20-30 mins 😲 DS has this pop-up tent/fort that he's putting a bunch of toys in. DD crawled in there with him and is having a fine time sitting in there just chewing on all the toys.

I don't get very much biting here (yet? She has two teeth). The one time she got me really good I yelped out and it scared her and she started crying!
But she does this thing where she grabs my boob flesh while nursing. It started that she kept doing this little pincer grasp and pinching my skin between her nails. That was bad enough and stung with that strong little pinch. But now she's moved on to trying to grab a fistful of skin and she digs her nails in 😣 It's not pleasant.

I try to clip DS2's nails twice a week because of this. Ouch.

The girls have started to play together too 😃 yesterday they were in the laundry room with the light off and we both laughing so hard. I went to see what kind of trouble they were getting into (dd2 for some reason thinks it's hilarious when dd1 sits on her) but every time I opened the door they would stop laughing and when I closed it they would start laughing again. So they sat in the dark for like ten minutes cracking each other up. 😁

Today was a rough day for me and I felt like a failure of a stay at home mom. Dd1 watched way too much curious George, dd2 fought me on feeds all day and bit me so many times I contemplated quitting breastfeeding, I would have to try several locations several different times for dd2 to feed, I tried to make it fun outside for the girls but dd1 dumped half a bottle of sunscreen all over dd2 so then we all had to go inside to get cleaned up, I feel like the list goes on and on. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Moms of girls: where do you buy cute bigger sized headbands? All I have are baby sized ones and they haven't fit in months. But I don't feel like I see bigger ones around in stores, usually just 0-6 months or whatever.
