One of my techs celebrates it as well. He’s a pretty nice guy. I can tell it’s starting to get to him as well. Hope your husband doesn’t get too grumpy.

Sunny41 How often do you swim and how many laps/distance do you do each session?

I started swimming this week and swam 1000m each time. I could probably do more but didn’t want to push myself too hard considering i haven’t swam laps in years.

My problem is consistency and keeping up with it (showing up to the gym and working out). I’m trying to be consistent and hopefully if i stay the course I’ll see some toning on my body. I will probably need to at least double the number of laps though.

vino So sorry about your H...FX those stones pass soon, that sounds horrendous. Also, those pics are such keepers! They did our graduation pics the week I pulled the kids out to go to FL, so B missed them (didn't even know about it until I got back and saw the proofs for the other kids :/) Luckily they wore the cap/gown at the graduation ceremony so I got *something*.

I'm sorry inthekitty. Sounds like a tough situation all around but I'm glad your H is doing ok so far. At least she is at peace now.

I use an app called MySwimPro. It has individual workouts and plans. I started in January with the Get Fit plan which was 3 workouts for 6 weeks and gets you up to swimming 1600 (a mile) at the end. There are daily workouts and other plans. I'm missing up the 5k and Olympic mile (open water) plan this summer. I swim Tuesday Thursday mornings with a friend and mh does drop off those days. I try to get another one in on the weekend. I'm swimming about 2800yds in 1hr avg. The app sends workouts to a smartwatch or you can print it. It changes the interval times based on your times and adjusts as you get faster.
You could also find a master's swim team for group workouts and better accountability. They take swimmers of all skill levels

Kind of a boring afternoon here; DH got home early but we had rain and everyone ended up taking naps in the family room (maybe I need to go buy lotto tickets??). Once we got the kids down DH did steaks on the grill, so a kid-free dinner was nice.

Tomorrow I think we're going to go see Aladdin (anyone seen it yet?) after DH flies in the a.m.

When MH picked M up, the teacher told him That M did good all day. Had a blast at the waterpark and was fearless. On the way back from the field trip, they had to drive by the weight room to get to the preschool and the teacher pointed out that his dad worked there and M started crying. She said he started saying that his brother’s birthday is coming soon and his mom and brother will be coming home next week. 😭😭😭😭 He misses us.

Oh bless his heart! He's a little trooper. I know you will all be glad to be back together again for good.

We've only split up for a day or two at a time and it really bothered B--I'm sure much more than that would be very tough.
