He has not been overly snotty although yesterday he had a stomach ache and was hysterically crying for quite some time, which expelled a ton of snot. But he is on Allegra 2 X per day so I'd imagine most of his snot is being suppressed anyway. I don't have the drops with me but I think it was ciprodex? The tube is obviously there to drain any fluid but if it's discolored like that and it's been a few days, it's probably infected. No, not always, but it's always been the case with H. If it's ciprodex, put the drops in both ears. Thank you, dr. tgrimes!

cagoldi I'm glad that it went ok last night, it sounds like the therapist is a good fit. Thinking of you, sending love. Ah jewels, I would have been crying too. You're doing a great job of getting through these solo parenting times, it's hard on everyone. Hugs, friend. I remember all the times you spoke abut her inthekitty and it was always...fascinating. Hopefully YH is able to cope well enough and not be effected by her antics anymore.

inthekitty, I'm sorry for your family's loss. Did she just pass in her sleep? I'm just confused if all of her conditions were fake, what actually caused her to pass. After typing that, it sounds rude, so feel free not to answer. It's not meant to be rude.

Apparently I need a referral for an infectious disease doctor. Luckily the lady I spoke to on the phone was very nice and says she speaks to my ENT and his nurse all the time. I already left a message with their office so hopefully we can get the ball rolling.

He's doing terrible Spent the day in the hospital again because his blood tests showed numbers that they see in a possible infection. They filled him with morphine, 3 bags of IV fluids, and gravol, and kept him in for a bit. He doesnt have a fever so there's no infection so they sent him home. He got home late, ate, showered, popped a percocet and snored through the night. He's at home today hoping that it passes and checking his temp every couple hours. There's really not much he can do except wait in pain for it to pass. Thanks for asking

vino, did they give him the strainer to pee into to catch it? Does he drink a lot of caffeine? My ex was told that he drank too much caffeine and that was why he was getting them. Idk how true that was.

vino , did they give him the strainer to pee into to catch it? Does he drink a lot of caffeine? My ex was told that he drank too much caffeine and that was why he was getting them. Idk how true that was. Yes he has a strainer, and he drinks 1-2 coffee's per day plus a pepsi, so i guess that's a lot, IDK what average it. Once he catches it, it'll be sent off and analyzed. He's got an appointment already to a urologist for the 13th and hopefully by then they'll have the results and he'll be told what diet changes he needs to make. He said he'll do whatever they tell him so he never has to experience this again, especially since they come on super quick and because of his job he could be in the field, fighting fires, filling sandbags at floods or on tour somewhere away from home and/or near a hospital. My coworker had really bad reoccurring ones and they narrowed it down to a certain acid that was in foods like spinach, rhubarb etc. and since her diet changes she hasnt had any, so they are preventable in most cases i think.

Thanks for the condolences. As far as FiL goes he's a-ok. While MiL's emotions were over the top and all over the place, FiL is basically void of emotions. He has limited attachment to people and as soon as she was hospitalized he was already planning a big summer vacation for himself assuming she was going to die. So...yeah, he's fine. klong11 after MiL was hospitalized this last time I asked MH what her diagnosis was and he replied "dying--there is none." She was around 77 and hadn't taken care of herself in years so it took a toll on her body. She had diabetes and before being in a care facility never took her insulin like she was supposed to so everyone always assumed that would be her cause of death, but once in the care facility they administered her meds so her diabetes was better controlled. I have no doubt that in the end she legitimately couldn't walk due to muscle atrophy, but there was no reason for it in the first place. For instance, when MH would try to help her from her wheelchair to her car she would actively pull against him and physically fight it. She had several hospitalizations in which she was medically cleared for super bizarre behavior and had to wait for a bed in a psych facility. She quit eating and drinking in the end (the second time she has done this) and that was the beginning of her final health downfall. So not so say there was never anything wrong with her health, none of it accounted for her extreme symptoms (it's too much to even type, but the things she would to do feign dementia was something else). ETA: We haven't told the girls yet. MH didn't want to upset them before school. I think he'll agree to wait until after the tournament tomorrow. Honestly, I anticipate a few tears and some sadness and then quickly recovering. There was no connection. MiL barely interacted with them, especially these past few years when they would have more memories with her. They never ask about seeing her because their visits consisted of her ignoring them.

Morning ladies. I am a terrible sister/aunt. My sister asked me to take my nephew to his appt this morning for his allergy shots and I totally forgot. Luckily my niece text me 15 mins before so I was able to get him to the clinic, just really late. I apologized to the nurse and my sister 100x.
It’s supposed to get into the mid 80s today and it’s opening day for the pools so I think I’m going to take the girls after nap. H will be thrilled.

We're at the zoo. It's cool and 70 degrees. I'm watching the manatees eat while my mom took the boys to the bathroom. I'm wore out. We've been here for 3 hours and my body is done. On our way to the car next.

I’m watching Beyoncé’s Homecoming and all I can think about is how much I want my butt to look like hers. This is normal, right? Pretty sure there's no reasonable alternative.
