sunfrogger , V just barely was 20# at 15 months but didn't fall off the curve so we are OK. She is a little thing though, and I kind of love it! (since she's the last it makes me feel like she's more of a baby still I guess) I always wonder what they will be like when they are much much older too, like will E be taller than his dad and will V always be a little petite girl or will she get tall??? Yea, O has just dropped on the growth curves. She started out up in the 80s and now she's like idk 18%? But her ped isn't SO concerned that she's pushing a toddler formula so I'm taking her lead. We're going to offer WCM at meals and snacks to try to get 16oz of it in her a day to see if that helps. I was a skinny tiny kid too IRC so we'll see. What's funny is that I can actually get wear out of hand me downs from Ems first summer 🤣🤦🏼♀️ I'm sure you've thought of this at this point, but any chance her measurements were off? Or has it been a steady decline in %? Just checking!

Hi! I haven’t been checking in as often as I would like. I am busy packing and getting ready to move. We are moving into the bigger house at the end of the month. I can’t wait. I think I’m my head it’s going to easier than it actually will be. Lol.
I think I am predicting this to be pretty easy because we have done it so much. Lol I am maybe a third of the way packed.

It won’t be. 2 1/2 years ago I moved three times in three month. I have packing down to a science. I literally just packed three boxes in 15 minutes.

The baby is cutting his bottom molars so that’s been fun. He slept horribly the night before last. And he’s weaning on his own and it’s screwing with my period it seems like. I’ve had it pretty consistently since November but since he started eating less in the last month or so I’ve been more irregular with my period. I’m hoping that’s all it is because I can’t remember if this happens with DS1.

Hi 👋🏻 long time, no post! Glad to see all these updates. My absence has been mostly due to the fact we listed our home for sale. We just accepted an offer this week and under contract for a new (to us) home. We should be moving at the end of July. Showings were a nightmare with a 1 & 2 year old but so excited about our new home. T has been doing great! She talks, has mastered going downstairs finally and eats like she’s going to the electric chair 😂 but in reality she’s a short little squirt. Hope to check in more!

I worked hard this morning to get most of my work for the week done. Tomorrow morning I'm going to a women empowerment type workshop and having lunch with an old friend. The presenters at this workshop are a finalist from both The Voice and Survivor and the mom from Little People, Big World. Then tomorrow night I'm going to a play in our university's brand new theatre. It will be a great day!

We've been doing a lovey for.....a really really long time. And a couple of stuffed animals also. Sometimes a book. She has a few things in there with her. I’m super behind so who knows how late I am to respond here but this is also us. DS must have ALL THE THINGS. Like ten stuffies in his crib at once. We gave him a lovey a long time ago lol. His collection of creatures has grown over quite some time.

I’ve also been MIA lately bc we are moving out of state at the end of the month. So with our house for sale & packing etc it’s been chaos. But we are under contract!!! and packing is going pretty smoothly!
DS is 17mo next week. Doing well, I feel like he’s just turning into a little boy now! Sooo so fun & has tons to say. He’s still not totally walking either haha, but takes steps here & there and will cruise along everything. He’s stubborn & will do it when he wants to lol.

dragonflyinn, we are in the same boat. DD2 is 17 months and not walking without holding onto something. Sometimes she will just stand in the middle of the room but won't attempt to take a step. I'm interested to hear what her ped says at her 18 month appointment if we are still in the same place.

Just checking in. Good luck to all you ladies moving!

So apparently Ds2 gave up his pacifier at nap time over a month ago without issue. He’s had us fooled though since he still screams at nap/bedtime at home without it. Guess we’ll be breaking that habit this weekend.

It’s definitely wacky bc I don’t feel like he is physically behind— like he has the strength & coordination for it, he just chooses not to. He will stand up and walk 4-5 steps & then giggle & sit down. Does that multiple times a day. So I’m not really sure what they’d recommend bc it’s not like he is lacking anything other than just the desire to do it lol (at least that’s how it appears to me).

dragonflyinn, sounds like the same thing happening for us. She loves to stand and climb and cruise but doesn't seem to want to take steps on her own. She will hold one finger of mine and walk. But if I let go, she sits down.

I went to a women's empowerment conference this morning and loved it. I got to chat with the speakers after... - Amy Roloff from Little People, Big World - Holly from Survivor: Nicaragua - Kat from season 6 of The Voice

Hi! So busy! I have my house about half packed. Since I don’t know with 100% certainty that we will be moving at the end of the month, there is only so much more I can do. We are essentially switching houses with the person living in the house we are moving into. She is waiting in confirmation from her mom that we can move on 6/29 or 6/30. The closest are basically empty, most of our shelving and storage furniture is empty and most of my kitchen cabinets have been emptied. In another week or two I will pack the rest of the kitchen. The week that we are moving I will pack the last of the toys and essentials.

Guess we’ll be breaking that habit this weekend. They don't allow it in the toddler room at school. I'm thrilled. We'll definitely be working on breaking that habit this summer. We have a long drive planned for Mid Sept so hopefully wekl before that.

J is back to 5 or 5:30 AM wakeups and she sure hits the ground running. I have been chasing her for 3 hours already. She is trying to break my spirit.
She also has been having at least one MOTN wakeup a night. She stands in her crib screaming so I don't think CIO would fix it. Mama is tired.

Hi everyone! Nice to see all the updates. I’m in my last week of school because we had barely any snow days this year! DS is doing well. He loves food more than anything else in the world, so not surprisingly he’s a big guy. He’s started talking quite a bit, which is nice because his brother ended up in EI for speech when he was 18 months because he wasn’t talking at all. He’s starting to follow his brother around everywhere. In my biased mama opinion, he’s growing into a handsome guy 😁 Poof because everyone has probably seen it by now

Little guy is having some tummy trouble. He has had the worst diapers since Sunday. He is eating mostly ok and drinking just fine. I’m hoping he gets better in a few days.

Ds2 slept without his pacifier until 4:30 and then I couldn’t fall back asleep so I’m tired. At some point I need to catch up on sleep.

I am starting to get sad at how much DS is starting to look like a toddler and less like a baby. He is getting skinny and tall and is becoming a little person instead of a baby. I mean, I am so happy he is growing and healthy of course, it is just so bittersweet! My Timehop makes me sad every morning when I see pictures of him last year. It's also so hard to compare where I'm at now vs. then. Stressing about pumping during work, waking up a few times a night- now I look back and don't know how I did it! But I am excited to get to go through all of that again hopefully someday soon. Being a mom is confusing

pinkcat I find every stage has its confusion. It keeps life interesting. DS2 is starting to look more like H which makes a little sad since he looked like me as a baby. He’s got blonde hair which I’m turns heads everywhere we go because everyone else in our house is dark haired. But it looks like he’s going to keep his blue eyes which I love.

I forget that Parenting is GD now and for a second I thought flippinchica was telling marygracerich to go on her god damned thread and I was like "whoa, that escalated quickly" 🤣 It sounds like a fun trip though, I am living vicariously through all of your vacations!!
