Hi! We are just chugging along preparing for our move. It’s 4 1/2 days away! I am mostly packed. The only things I have to pack are my pots and pans, the rest of our clothes, some toys and electronics.
I need a nap. Lol

Why is my little man being so cute?!! He is playing with his ball and giggling and I can’t handle it. 😍

The laughter and giggling is the best. DS2 loves to run around the patio table at my parents and laugh as you try to catch him.

I want to say that we're in canine teething hell, but I thought that like 2 months ago and still nothing. All I know is that her sleep as gone to crap and I am dragging this week. marygracerich the giggles really are the best.

It was awful. That finally finished a few weeks ago and now we is chewing on his hands again which I think means more molars are coming. And yes the giggles are just the best.

Is it bad that this makes me feel better? I keep thinking that I'm a crazy person because I was so insistent that she was teething, and then she was better, and now it's crap again, but still nothing.

Somehow he’s always been cutting teeth when we’re at the dr’s so she always warns us they are coming. His back molars have been the worst yet.

Planning for a 4 hour car ride and camping at a family reunion in 96* + humidity weather. Pray for me.

In re: to all the teething... I thought the molars were the worst, but the canines trumped that by a LANDSLIDE. Holy smokes. But there’s hope because H just got her 2yr molars last week and other than some minor sleep issues (waking up at 530 every dang day), I didn’t even know they were coming!

Good luck with the move, marygracerich! I think V is working on some teeth too but not too bad so far....hopefully we don't have any all-nighters with them like we have had. (all-nighters=really just being up for a couple of hours in the MOTN but almost 4yo E almost always "coordinates" with her and has a rough night the same night)

Thanks everyone. Tomorrow is the day! I am super nervous about the logistics of it all. Since we are switching houses with the person living in our new place, we have to sort of run on her schedule. I don’t know what her timeline looks like right now because her mom is planning everything.
At this point I am willing to put my stuff in the house and let her movers work around us. lol

How many teeth do your LOs have now? DS seemed to get his early but hasn't had any new ones in several months. He has 16 but I'm wondering when he should start to get more!

I know I am probably in the minority on this but I cannot express how happy I am to be out of the itty bitty baby phase. He is so good at independent play (most of the time) and he doesn’t need bottles or feedings at certain times. I can always postpone a meal for a little bit with a snack. He can walk on his own so he doesn’t need to be carried everywhere. It’s truly the best.
Now to get to the point of no diapers..lol If he is like his sister I have two more years of these damn things.

Of course I worry about his overall well-being and happiness but it’s so much better now that he isn’t as fragile and needy. Oh and toddler snuggles are so good because they are willing participants and it makes them smile so much. 😊

I’m so with you on the not itty phase. O is a big mama girl and the tantrums when I'm not holding her are real. But I agree. I'm looking forward to when she is finally like 1.5\20 months, things got really good then for E.

We were in the same place up until a week or so ago. H has had 16 teeth since 12.5/13months, but just popped her bottom 2yr molars. Her top aren’t too far behind. I can see/feel them right there

I’m not sure how many teeth he has but I know we definitely aren’t at 16 yet. Probably closer to 12.
I struggle with this phase. He’s into absolutely everything so I can’t turn my back to even stir a pot on the stove it feels like. Plus he’s never outgrown witching hour. I think if he was more verbal it may help because he wouldn’t just scream and point at everything.

We're sitting at 11 teeth. Her canines are right there, but haven't come through yet. We haven't been to the dentist yet, but I'm pretty convinced that she just doesn't have one of the bottom incisors.

The baby is sick again with some upper respiratory sinus crap. He’s actually got hoop coming out of his eyes but does not appear to be pink eye and is clearing up with Benadryl. I’m at the point where I’m wondering if w where to push allergy testing.
