Dh made a lovely breakfast. After we to the kids to the zoo and had the best day. The kids were on their best behaviour and so happy and cute. And happy kids is a happy mom right?!

It's my first Mother's Day not seeing my Mom since she's so far away. Also my flower delivery made it on time - I just have no idea who got it. Grrrrr!

lfig sounds like a massage is needed for your mothers day! Evie picked out some red velvet waffles she wanted to make with me for breakfast this morning. I read the recipe yesterday and read 1 lbs of cocoa, so we attempted to mix everything up, and it was so thick...not mixable. I threw it out and looked at the recipe again and realized it actually says 1 tbs. I laughed so hard...evie will never let me live this down. I have one scheduled for Tuesday!! And a facial! |

I just ordered a Dunkin’ Donuts delivery for me and LO since C is off to work. I ordered my gifts all I asked that C wrap them but that didn’t happen. So I guess this is just a normal day for me. I made breakfast and just finished vacuuming while my H sat on the sofa, so yes, normal fucking day. Except I'm going to be drinking wine soon. |

A made me breakfast but woke me up to eat... no I'm sleeping in. So I ate cold breakfast potatoes and the smell of his bacon made me vomit.. he got sweet cards and is helping me clean. But hes just so damn slow. I cleaned 4 rooms while he did the dishes....

It has been a day. I’ve had 2 moms come in with their water leaking so bad it got on the floor. I think this is the first time in 3 years I’ve had it happen. I feel bad for them, I’m sure they’re embarrassed so I waited till the left to call EVS to clean it up.

lfig I'd go to the dr and get checked out.if you have any lingering issues that could impact your job (being able to walk the parks) or pain down the road you will want the documentation. It is a workplace injury and should be treated as such. Imagine it as if it had fallen on your feet and broken a toe. You would definitely not want to pay those bills. But also a muscle relaxer may be needed. I hope you feel better!

So after bacon fire drama. Shadow wanted outside well then she got into a fight with some random cat in our front yard! I stopped it before it got too bad but she has a few scratches and 2 big gouge. The dr gave her a cone of shame but she's too fat to reach the spot anyways. Now she's doped up but won't sleep.
Then mh found out his brother was laid off 3weeks ago. They have 4 kids and 3 in catholic school. SIL works so there is some income but obviously a hard blow and I think mh is thrown off by it

My Mother's Day gift to myself: signing up for a free consultation at the medispa down the road. It's supposed to be amazing and after joking about spending foolishly with my acquisition money (property taxes, prepaying Col's camp for a discount, home owner's insurance), I decided that I deserve a little something fun. Now I just wish I had done this sooner!
