Since we are all getting busier and busier, it might be easier to just have a random thread for the month instead of weekly. Then people can just keep adding on as the month continues. Does that work for everyone else?

Busy couple of days here. Ds2 broke his thumb near the top of his wrist at the skate park (he was at his dad's for the weekend and I wasn't there 😔). Hes ok but it's a pretty bad break and has to wear a cast for a month. No PE for the remainder of the year too. He's just bummed

Ugh that sucks quinn. It’s so sad when kids get hurt. I feel like ds1 and C are constantly battering and bruising themselves. We need bubble wrap for these kiddos!

My kid still falls SO OFTEN. Sorry your kid has to miss PE quinn, that's a bummer Work has been so busy I haven't had time to check in, haha. We had swimming lessons tonight, they went pretty well. She mostly likes it, but doesn't love being on her back.

Does that work for everyone else? I'm laughing because I totally thought I responded to this yesterday with a "sounds good!" No such posts exists. I am losing my mind. But, now I am saying, sounds good! lol

I'm sorry about your kiddo quinn. Better now then in July I guess. Yeah that's what I keep telling him. His birthday is in July and she said he should be healed 100% by then. The break is near his growth plate though so they have to keep a close eye on it

Ds1 has croup. Daycare called with a 102 fever and when I got him he looked and sounded awful. Thankfully I got him in to the pediatrician right away and they gave him steroids so hopefully it'll be short lived.

E has another cold too and I swear to god we haven't lasted longer than 2 weeks before he's sick again. I can't wait until they are a little older and their immune systems are stronger.

Thanks all! The steroids worked beautifully and ds1 feels much better already this morning. Fever is gone and his cough is much less barky. He did wake up super early and was starving which is a side effect of the steroids but I'll take it!
Ds2 is doing a transition to the toddler room today and tomorrow and I am a ball of nerves with his allergy. I stopped in to say hi to the new teachers and one of the kids had just spilled his milk so it put me on high alert. I know he's not the first kid with allergies that they've had but that isn't helping lol

So I think C has eczema. He’s had a small patchy rash on his chin for a month and now he’s getting some spots in the creases of his arms/legs. It’s weird that he’s developing it now, right? Any tips? I put some hydrocortisone on it last night which seemed to help. I’m also going to get some scent-free natural baby wash for his baths.

I don't know if it's eczema though, but it pops up in spots and lasts for awhile until I lotion it very regularly. I thought the first spot on her belly appeared after she got slide burn on it (haha), but now she has some in her inner elbow? So no tips, but I guess it's not that weird if it's happening to DD for the first time now too!
