Sasha and Malia didn't attend the state visit when the Obama's had one but they did meet the Queen when they went to London and had a private tour of Buckingham palace. Apparently the Queen really likes the Obama family, remember the Michelle breaking protocol incident and put her arm around Queeny? And the Queen hugged her right back. I remember reading about that in her memoir. And that she was apprehensive about sitting next to the Queen in the car because it wasn’t protocol and the Queen said something like “Did they tell you that you can’t sit back here? Ignore them.” Which is adorable. |

I also just recalled- didn’t Trump say previously he tried very hard to “get with” or date Diana, post-divorce from Charles? Or something like that? If I’m remembering correctly that would make meeting with him even more infuriating for William. After her death he did an interview with Howard Stern, where he claimed he could've "nailed her" but said he would've made her take an HIV test first. God. If I were William, I don’t think I could give him a pass on that, even if my grandma the queen told me to come to dinner. I’m kind of disappointed in all of them for hosting this dinner. |

Yea based on the comments above about Diana and Kate I would be HARD PRESSED to even be remotely polite if I was Will. Like. Oof. Or any of the BRF really. I hope they're really shitty toward them.

The 75th anniversary of D-Day is worth commemorating, but as a military-adjacent family, I remain incensed that this is our commander-in-chief representing us on that solemn occasion. I have no doubt he and his circus family will make spectacles of themselves in the process. I hope the BRF will at least lend some dignity.

She sees herself as a beautiful European model and aligning herself with the royals, but she's there dragging around this American buffoon for a husband.
