I feel like Melania is going to be so embarrassed around the BRF. She sees herself as a beautiful European model and aligning herself with the royals, but she's there dragging around this American buffoon for a husband. Cringing at all his gaffs. I bet she self medicates. I hope she is embarrassed. Birther backing bitch. She married him. She could divorce him. I care not at all that she may be embarrassed by him. |

Thank goodness it’s almost June so we have a new thread. We’ll need a separate thread for the Von Clownstick Family state visit, so that we don’t sully the whole thread the way we did this one. Mostly because I can’t be counted on to behave.

Ugh I really think it’s unfair to force Kate (and Will but esp Kate) to meet with this Neanderthal and be polite to him. This isn’t politics, he’s defending people who violated her in a really gross way. To expect her to rise above it is just beyond the call of duty. I know it doesn’t work this way but I wish it could be that at the last minute the BRF were all “ill” and unable to attend. I would voluntarily eat raw chicken and risk salmonella poisoning to get out of this dinner. |

Footnote- my level of surprise is maybe a .5 and I’m more here hoping we can stop discussing Trump at least until the actual visit |
