We lost power twice but luckily it came back on after the 2nd 20 minute stint and stayed on.

lahdeedah sorry about the strep. I’ve had it twice already this year so I feel your pain.

@nam legend Lucas was 2 he fell completely off the growth chart. Like, was in the negative percentile. We had no idea what was going on until we finally switched to a good pediatrician and she sent us to an Endocronologist. He was producing almost 0. I think the normal number is in the 200-400 range and his was 40. He takes a HGH shot everyday and is now in the 90th percentile. I would definitely recommended seeing and Endocronologist to see if that may be the issue.

Sometimes when I'm grocery shopping, I look at other people's carts and it's all produce, dairy and meat...nothing from the dreaded "interior aisles". Then I look at mine and feel like a lard-ass

xolastunicornxo thanks I’ll mention it next appointment. They’re not that worried about his height, their prognosis at birth was that it could take untill puberty to catch up. They’re worried about his weight.

Hey. Snow day here. After we went to bed the rain turned to sleet and snow. The wind was terrible and it was blowing right at our bedroom window all night. It’s a bummer that the snow day happened on a Thursday since it’s the only day both girls go to school, but it’ll be ok. I have spent the morning cleaning and doing laundry. My sister and her kids are coming to stay this weekend so I need to get this clutter under control.

My hairdresser outdid herself today, the color is perfection. She did a complementary hair mask, too. I hate getting my nails done but do enjoy having my hair done, there's something about a bustling salon that always leaves me in a good mood.

So, we’re back.

And X is on the spectrum. From my perspective, nothing really changes. We just update the school and get a little more worked into his IEP.

I’m a little surprised, but not completely taken off guard.

Thanks for all your support, girls.

X is perfection and he’s going to be great, I have no doubts.

They did warn us about seizures being much more common in ASD kiddos, and think he might sometimes be having absence seizures, so we’re going to be on the lookout for that.

I’m glad you got a definitive answer cagoldi. Like you said, it doesn’t really alter your action plan and we all know he’s great and has great parents that will see to it he gets what he needs to thrive If nothing else, having that diagnosis in hand will grease some wheels if you ever encounter difficulties in the school system or whatever as he gets older and the expectations change.

This exactly! He sounds like such an amazing toddler and to make things even better he has you to help him find the best resources and path.

My kid is fine. I'm guessing she's like me, no eating or drinking and you are immediately dehydrated and vomiting. Fun times.
She has to stay home tomorrow since it's policy, but she is fine.
I'll be stocking the pantry and fridge with easy breakfast things that she can either get herself or mh can get for her.
