nam2013 , I hope you get good answers. How small is he? My friend's son was always very small, but otherwise perfectly healthy, and they ended up putting him on growth hormones as a preteen to try to catch him up. I know they agonized over the decision but ultimately decided to do it.

He's still small, but it's not as drastic a difference now (I'd say at 9 he was about the size of a 6-7 year old and the doctors said they thought he would only be about 5' tall, I think now at 13 he's close to 5' and they are estimating he will probably still grow 4-5 more inches to end up around 5'4

Edit, not to say that is something that would be necessary or even something to look into for you, just saying I remember the stress she had at every turn with how little he was and trying to get answers.

jewels bare in mind that the average male height (6ft) is probably a little bit taller than in the USA, the Dutch are tall 😉.

He is now 3ft6/43inch and 34lbs. Lengthwise he is catching up a little bit, or at least following his own curve. It is mainly his height/weight ratio that is a concern, he has fallen of the curve completely.

flamingo it was! I had expected to be in and out in 15-20 minutes, we were there for hours! I didn’t bring anything, he was so thirsty and hungry, cue mom guilt.

I thought ahead and did all my shopping Tuesday so I could spend today prepping food for SILs baby shower Saturday. Currently making mini salted caramel cheesecakes and brownie bites. My house smells amazing. Dh is going to stop at the store for the 2 things i forgot, then I’ll pre make several quiches. Hope it’s okay to make them in advance.

Gotchya - S is short, but MH and I are short so I don't think much of it.  at his 5 y/o appt he was 41.5 inches so I'd say he's probably the same height as your DS now but definitely a lot heavier.

I hope you get answers, I know this has been a concern for you for years with him.

nam2013 I'm sorry for the concern and I hope you get some answers too. My little brother was always below the 10th percentile and fell off the growth charts for a while. He was both short and skinny, but his weight was under even for his height. He's got a little extra weight now.  I hope the test results come in soon and can put you at ease.

Is anyone watching the latest season of Santa Clarita Diet? I love this show. Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant have such amazing chemistry. He cracks me up constantly. Maddie saw a clip with Gary the talking head and of course loved it. She'll have to wait until she's older to watch though.

Guess who's now sitting on the couch with their kid 🙋.
She threw up at school(her teacher was very thankful she made it to the bathroom). I'm still thinking it was due to an empty stomach. She is currently eating saltines and Gatorade, but has requested more. Buuuuut, since she threw up she has to stay home tomorrow too. Mh will stay tomorrow. I told him he needs to either start feeding her breakfast or get her to school earlier so she can eat there. We've had this discussion before.

J wet the bed and then n was up MOTN, and I have quite the headache. My OB said it could be hormones, dehydration, or post concussion headaches. And to drink water and a little caffeine. Oh I drove a daycare mom up the road to our building today and we commented on the whole foods being closed near our office...I said the Safeway isn't the same and she said "well I only eat 'whole foods', I don't eat anything processed and only shop there". My eyes almost rolled out of my head. I said well I like Safeway for wine and beer especially.

I'm judging her hardcore for not growing all of her own foods. Does she have any idea how many chemicals are on her produce? *tsk tsk*
