slenle how are you doing up there? It was windy AF here last night and today. I kept hearing weird noises all night, plus it was hot (80 when we went to bed, woke up to 50s and falling temps so we turned the A/C off), so I slept like shit. It may be a Starbucks run day.

We have a visit with the neurodevelopmental pedi this morning to get our ADOS results. So, in a handful of hours, we will be able to put the autism question to rest either way.

It’s not pretty. The snow we were supposed to get overnight came down as sleet. So fortunately, we didn’t accumulate more snow, but unfortunately, it’s an icy mess. And sooo windy. A lot of businesses are closed. I moved Hs well child check to next week so I don’t have to leave the house. |

Morning. I’m at the employee clinic. My throat feels extremely swollen and irritated. Thinking strep, and kind of hoping it’s that so I can get meds for it and feel better sooner rather than later. slenle not cool Mother Nature. wineallthetime Hope the kids are improving. |

lahdeedah I hope you get some meds and feel better soon! It's 52 outside...wind is at 18mph, and our air conditioner is on. I'm freezing. And super annoyed.

My parents kept S last night and I went to the Cardinals game with MH and his Honor Guard team since they are here for training. Then I stayed at the hotel with him. It was glorious to get a kid free night out and a kid free morning. We don’t get many of those since we don’t live by family.
Today is S’s appointment with Speech and OT at the hospital for her evaluation to see if there is a good assistive communication system that will work well for her. I think it may be a long afternoon.
Also picking up my car today from the shop...$1200 later I should be good as new 😬.

Cadence told me this morning that her stomach hurt. She always says that, so I didn't pay any attention. Mh just dropped her off and I'm watching her. She's sitting off to herself in a comfy chair. Really hope she's just tired and I'm not about to get a call from dc that she isn't feeling well.

Morning sweet chicks.
I had a dream last night that my Dad was better. He had the diagnosis of ALS, it got bad then it reversed itself as quick as it came on. I have this dream every once in a while and really fucks with my soul. I have to believe that he's trying to tell me that he is ok now.
...and now I'm tearing up all over again...fak

I never updated what the paediatrician at the hospital said. I sort of hoped (and expected) them to say ‘well mrs helicopter overprotective mom, your son’s growth is just his developmental curve, blablabla...’. Well they didn’t. They are just as concerned as we are. They checked his heart for heart conditions, which was fine, but freaked me out. He has his urine/blood tested for celiac/kidney/thyroid problems/iron/vitamin levels, we should get the results within two weeks. And we have referral to a dietitian.
Long story short, I sort of went there to ease my worries and they just got bigger 😕.
ETA all I see is my, yes small and light, but healthy & perfect boy, who was really really brave yesterday #proudmom.
