We did tell him to help himself--and help himself he did. I expected some food gone--I didn't expect it all gone. He wrote an email afterward in which he mentioned he bought some food to replace what he ate, but then he ate that too. God love him.

I'm super annoyed at CBS for having the new Twilight Zone stream exclusively on their service. I'm going to wait it out because I'd imagine that would kill the show and they'll eventually have to move to other avenues of airing it.

Kids have the flu. I was really waffling back and forth about tamaflu, but opted not to do it. I'm not feeling great, but not bad so hopefully I'm not next. I'm in the car with the kids while MH gets stuff for hot toddy's (me) and jello, popsicles, ect for the kids.

I’m so sorry wineallthetime. How is your H feeling?

Ugh. As the day goes on I feel worse. Heaviness in my chest, mild body aches and chills, but no fever. I’m telling myself it’s just a sinus infection since I have been blowing my nose round the clock for the last two weeks with no other symptoms. I’m self medicating tonight, then asking our doc for a z pack tomorrow. The kids are probably getting melatonin tonight because I’m in no shape to deal with the bedtime shenanigans. This is not how I want to feel while traveling this weekend.

I ate a grilled cheese and French fries dipped in blue cheese dressing for lunch every workday during the second and third trimester. Since I was already overweight I only gained 16#.

This week has been so crazy. Work has been nuts and I spend most of my day playing catch-up. I have been going in at 6:30am whenever I can to work without people there.

We got an email Sunday that baseball starts this week with the first practice tomorrow. I would have liked more notice. So I had to do both karate nights (Dh usually takes one) and then I am meeting them at practice after work tomorrow. This is what our next two months will look like. I feel a little bad because C really didn’t want to go to karate tonight but he has a belt test in two weeks and he does enjoy it once he’s there.

Also any other kids dealing with growing pains? C has complained of knee pain off and on for a while but recently it’s daily.

Lots of growing pain complaints here. Her legs especially. I give her some Tylenol and a massage.

Oh, and my kids are the same about TKD. Bitch about going but then have a blast.

wedding T has never complained of growing pains but DS1 always has. They started around 4 and they are back now that he’s hitting puberty. Mostly at night, always his legs. Sometimes so bad he wakes me up in the middle of the night. I give Advil and he usually is fine by morning.

Oh I am not likely to cut my ice cream intake, don't worry! I'm hoping to pick up my exercise somehow. She liked the peleton idea, ha. She has 3 kids and gets that I don't have much time to exercise during the week. I don't remember how much I gained total for the last too, just shy of 40lb each. I'm just worried my metabolism is going to tank and it won't fall off as easily just with nursing and pumping. She also said my thyroid is likely to start acting up since thyroid issues run in my family.

Oh and we are getting quotes for refi and the quicken guy legit was looking at pix of our house from searching for our address and commenting on our backyard, it was super awkward. We aren't going with them, I was surprised he couldn't beat our local guys rate. I think I'll try BOA and then call it due diligence.

We just lost power for 20 minutes. The kids kept asking to do things that use electricity, like listen to music. And as I was typing this our power went out again. Hopefully this doesn’t keep happening.

wedding B has had growing pains in his legs on and off for the last couple years. I'll usually just rub/massage his legs but if it's really bothering him/preventing him from sleeping I'll do some tylenol.

They have a couple of these shows like the new Star Trek.
