Oh man snuff9861 and pootsen, neither having good days. belle0720, I'm glad the girls are doing well on their weight, lil things 😊 I want to do some more gardening, but I'm just struggling to find the time! I need to get a babysitter so I can garden. How was your walk thatgolfb? We're good over here except that daycare called for us to pick up Jojo because she had a green goopy eye. Sigh. So we came home for lunch and nap and then hit up the walk in clinic. I tried to get in with my doctor and eye doctor first, but no luck. I hate going to the clinic, always worry we'll get something worse, especially because there's been a few cases of measles in the city 😬 but otherwise she's been chipper. DH is out at a party. We were all going to go and put DD to bed there, but figured we shouldn't shouldn't the eye goop. So I'm home watching married at first sight and just finished doing a bit of work. cakewench, I'll let DD have candy on occasion from other people, my brother brought her a kinder egg the other day so she got a few bites of that, but I don't let her have anything like that at home. If we have something around her I'll let her have a taste of anything. I only bring out the mini cream eggs after she goes to bed though! She won't get anything edible in her easter basket I don't think. No wonder DD talks so much, I talk so much. Her new cute thing is she says hand and reaches up for our hand when she wants to go up or down stairs etc. I didn’t end up walking, because H just picked up both girls, which made my life easier. I did get in a quick stationary bike ride!

After our week of illness in the house, this weekend we were back on track. It was a great weekend. DD1 had teeball yesterday morning, and C and I wandered the back of the field while H coached. We spent the rest of the day outside, because it was just so nice. We went to dinner in old town (with the kids, where we ate outside and listened to the live mariachi music. It was also our 7 year anniversary!
This morning H and I got a sitter so we could go work out together, so that was nice. We are kind of just tidying up and relaxing today.

Even though nothing edible will be in his basket, AJ gets treats all the time. Birthday cake pops are his favorite Thank God I'm not the only one who sugars up my kids 😬 I will say though, I've been having some guilt about the extra treats and screen time they've been getting lately. A lot is coming from the grandparents and I think it's a side effect of us moving in the next few months. The kiss are getting a lot of extra spoilage. When we move this summer a lot of the extra eating our and sweet treats will disappear and going to real daycare and preschools all day will cut out a lot of the screen time. I'm looking forward to moving a lot in that regard. I'm definitely feeling the leniency lately with the treats. Oh I should have said earlier, but both kids get plenty of sugar. DD1 has a treat of some kind nearly every day, whether it is a piece of chocolate, popsicle, sometimes ice cream. DD2 has had her fair share, too. Juice was just something not really on my radar! And I have stated before, but we are super lax on screen time, and will continue to be as long as it doesn’t become an issue.

We went out to bowl and have lunch with the ILs for MILs bday. C threw up on the way home (I think he gets car sick). Got home, cleaned him and his car seat, then I got him down for a nap. DH decided that would be a great time to install new doorknobs upstairs. So of course C woke up. Then ds1 got a face full of sawdust and has been crying for the last hour while we try to wash it out of his eyes.
I have wine.

Sorry I've been a bit MIA! I think ds2 has roseola 😫 but he never had the rash on his chest ... Just on his legs? Idk ds1 didn't have this one. He's grumpy, has a runny nose, and a fever. But it sounds like the Advil has kicked in because I can hear him giggling now 🤷 should I be doing anything else? There’s not much you can do for roseola. Just Tylenol or ibuprofen for the fever/discomfort, lots of fluids, and snuggles.

DH just shared his chocolate chip cookie with DD, speaking of treats. We had a good day. Kindergym. Trip to the mall so I could get my eyebrows threaded and pop into Sephora. Quick food court lunch and then home home a nap. This afternoon we went to butterfly gardens and a brewery. DD was so good, happy to toddle around, but didn't touch anything she shouldn't etc. We're going to have roast chicken shortly.

Glad everyone is feeling better, thatgolfb! pootsen - I see our husbands have been following the same poor timing. Mine decided yesterday that the bottoms of N's shoes needed cleaning (which they did), and thought RIGHT THEN was the best time. N proceeded to whine for 45 minutes between cleaning and drying because his shoes were missing. Why H didn't wait until after he went to sleep is beyond me.
