C is out of her high chair and into a booster. She is obsessed with big sister so once she realized she sat in a real chair it was game over. She also talks like crazy. More words then I can count, is apparently already at the repeating stage, and stringing words together. E was a super early talker too and never shuts up, so again, I think C is just trying to hang with the big kid.
If she would ever cut some dang teeth though. Teeth 7 and 8 FINALLY cut after like two months of visibly moving around just below the gum line.

AJ said night night tonight which was new and really cute cause he waved and blew a kiss lol
He likes to mess with me though when it comes to saying mama. He points at me and says "DADA??" and laughs. I tell him, "no, I'm mama!" and he continues to call me dada. He's a little jokester
My pole is in my bedroom where I also give them baths. After bath time ds3 likes to try to climb it and spin around. AJ tried to copy him tonight and I told him to spin and he stepped like 3 feet away from it and spun in circles 😂

So DS has a RAGING ear infection now. The doctor said don’t be surprised if his ear drum ruptures. Sounds awful. Amox given. Should be a fun weekend 🙄 Oh no! Poor thing! I’m glad your instincts were right. I hope he feels better soon!

DD was an early talker and by 18 mo could say at least a dozen verbal words and 2 dozen signs. With DS it’s probably a little bit of boys being slower with that generally, and sibling trend with not really needing to talk as much, so he doesn’t. I guess today at my ILs, he pointed to my picture on the wall and said mama again. He also signed milk just fine at bedtime when asked, after my attempts at dinner! I think he’s just being a stinker!

My MIL is like, aghast I don't want candy in N's Easter basket this year. She keeps bringing it up. He's not even 16 months old, I'd like to wait until he's at least 2 before introducing candy.
H is backing me on this, even though he doesn't feel as strongly as I do. Am I wrong for wanting to wait a little longer? I'm not going to deprive the kid forever, obviously, I just think it's still too early for a lot of that.

DD1 didn’t have juice until like 3 years old because I just didn’t think it was necessary.

Also hiiiii. Everyone is at work or day care/school today! But one of the other day care kids is out sick now. We figured out that it was probably the preschool teacher that DD1 got the bug from, she was out sick last week.
Anyway, I am working early today so I will be out in about 2 hours. I may walk to get DD2 since H is picking up D1 for tee ball. The walk isn’t far; DCP lives pretty close. It is pretty nice outside. I am so ready for the weekend!

I skimmed a bit, we are talking words and seats? DD2 still uses a high chair, but she has a little booster she uses at DCp’s house. There have been no issues in the high chair; she just loves food so she focuses on eating. 🤣
She has quite a few words, definitely more earlier on than DD1 had. I can’t understand a lot of them, but lately she has been responding to questions with “I don’t know” and a shrug, and then she mumbles nonsense like she is explaining something. It cracks me up.

In the matter of 10 minutes, I got headbutted HARD in the nose by ds1, closed a door on my toe and ripped off the top layer of skin, then stepped on and shattered the screen of our iPad. I’m going to wrap myself in a bubble and hide in a hole for the rest of the day.
Actually my parents are picking up ds1 in about 30 mins and keeping him overnight, so we should have a nice relaxing evening with just the baby.

He's hyper enough without sugar lol The only edible treat he's getting is welch's fruit snacks

Oh man snuff9861 and pootsen, neither having good days. belle0720, I'm glad the girls are doing well on their weight, lil things 😊 I want to do some more gardening, but I'm just struggling to find the time! I need to get a babysitter so I can garden. How was your walk thatgolfb? We're good over here except that daycare called for us to pick up Jojo because she had a green goopy eye. Sigh. So we came home for lunch and nap and then hit up the walk in clinic. I tried to get in with my doctor and eye doctor first, but no luck. I hate going to the clinic, always worry we'll get something worse, especially because there's been a few cases of measles in the city 😬 but otherwise she's been chipper. DH is out at a party. We were all going to go and put DD to bed there, but figured we shouldn't shouldn't the eye goop. So I'm home watching married at first sight and just finished doing a bit of work. cakewench, I'll let DD have candy on occasion from other people, my brother brought her a kinder egg the other day so she got a few bites of that, but I don't let her have anything like that at home. If we have something around her I'll let her have a taste of anything. I only bring out the mini cream eggs after she goes to bed though! She won't get anything edible in her easter basket I don't think. No wonder DD talks so much, I talk so much. Her new cute thing is she says hand and reaches up for our hand when she wants to go up or down stairs etc.

I'm on my 3rd cup of coffee. The boat is in so H is out fishing all weekend. Ds3 was up at 5:30 needing to poop and never went back to bed. I'm dragging 😴

We have a vendor meeting for our new house today so we're off to ROC for the day. Planning to take the girls to the zoo out there too and check out our newly dug house hole.

No candy in E’s basket either. Just a chocolate bunny for N.
E has a swollen ear drum. Which I guess is different than a ear infection. We have an antibiotic on file if we need it but mostly just using ibuprofen.
H and the big are going to a monster truck show today so it will just be me and E for most of the day. It’s going to be almost 70 here and I can’t wait.

C “helped” me clean the house this morning. He was so sweet and cute. Just played and played with his toys and followed me around with his vacuum cleaner. Then I dropped him off at my parent’s house and picked up ds1. We’re on a mom-son date getting his hair cut and going to to lunch. Then we’re having dinner at my parent’s house. DH is spending the day with some of his college friends.

But we are the "health nuts" of the neighborhood ... Aka no juice, no fruit snacks, no snacks before dinner, no candy ever. 🤷 No one needs candy. Especially not a 16 month old.

Mil has apologetically said that the kids’ baskets have some candy in them. I said, fine, but DH and I will just take it for ourselves. DS doesn’t need candy. DD doesn’t need much.

My dad asked me yesterday what E can have in her Easter basket. I was like “Uhh...” She’s not going to eat any candy or anything, so I just told him that she likes snacks like cheese its and peanut butter crackers. 🤷♀️
Also, hi! I’ve been pretty MIA because work has been nuts, but I’m on spring break, and then the last 7 weeks of school are more laid back, so I should be around more!

cnf, E has been in a booster for a bit too. She went from being a great eater to just throwing food around because she decided she hated the high chair.

C doesn’t get candy but he gets a bit of sweet stuff if ds1 is having it- like bites of ice cream, half a cookie, etc. In fact I just bribed him with an oatmeal raisin cookie while we were grocery shopping the other day.
I’ll probably just put some crackers and bars in his Easter basket because snacks are his favorite. He’s also super into balls right now so I’ll also get him one of those obnoxiously large rubber balls that come in the bins at the store.

Yesterday I went into DS’s room when he woke and DD was in his crib..... at least she just snuck straight downstairs this morning and left him alone.
Today I’m staying for second service to volunteer but I chose the infant room so I can snuggle some babies! Lol DH has been laying into this idea of 3 kids a lot lately. I’m not so sure.

Sorry I've been a bit MIA! I think ds2 has roseola 😫 but he never had the rash on his chest ... Just on his legs? Idk ds1 didn't have this one. He's grumpy, has a runny nose, and a fever. But it sounds like the Advil has kicked in because I can hear him giggling now 🤷 should I be doing anything else?

Birthday cake pops are his favorite Thank God I'm not the only one who sugars up my kids 😬 I will say though, I've been having some guilt about the extra treats and screen time they've been getting lately. A lot is coming from the grandparents and I think it's a side effect of us moving in the next few months. The kiss are getting a lot of extra spoilage. When we move this summer a lot of the extra eating our and sweet treats will disappear and going to real daycare and preschools all day will cut out a lot of the screen time. I'm looking forward to moving a lot in that regard. I'm definitely feeling the leniency lately with the treats.
