We've had a full day at the ballpark helping clean it up for opening day Monday. Now the kids are with their dad & I just got done mowing. I'm gonna color my hair, shower & try to find some motivation to clean a few things

🙋♀️ I also have a five year old with crazy temper tantrums. She was mistreating our Switch earlier today (something we talk to her about almost daily), so I took it from her. She balled up her fists and screamed so loud SO came in from outside thinking she was mortally wounded.
The fit lasted OVER AN HOUR.

Is it the angry orchard one? Yes! I don’t like that one. It just takes like artificial flavors to me. But I am not a fan of regular angry orchard anyway. |

I also just helped DD1 remember how to tie shoes. She’s been wearing snow boots for 6 MONTHS because of this fucking weather and forgot. I’m also surprised at the people that said lefties didn’t need a different way to learn. Because I definitely reverse everything to teach my lefty. But I also can’t do the bunny ears way.

Plus, DH has had a lot of travel and hotels booked under his name for work purposes that has gained us a billionty points. |

Sauvignon Blanc on deck, although I’ve been half drunk since 10:30am. We’re in Florida for spring break and the weather hasn’t been amazing, but at least we got some beach time in today. I’m trying to convince MH to do NYC/Nantucket for a kid free vacay in June. He’s lukewarm on Nantucket and I have no idea what to tell him when he asks why I want to go there, other than Elin Hilderbrand makes it sound dope. Help? Anyone have thoughts on Nantucket? We did Cape Cod and Nantucket for our anniversary one year. Took the ferry out to Nantucket for the day, rented a bicycle built for two and explored the island. We enjoyed ourselves, but I can't remember much else, sorry. |

D1 is at teatime with her Godmother. She was so excited to go so I hope she has a good time. We came out for sushi with the baby. I'm breaking my dry April goal for a glass of wine with dinner.

I know this isn't encouraging, but DS at 5 was difficult and he still is. I question my parenting every day. He battles me every step of the way. Even when it's something he wants to be doing he usually turns it into a battle.
It's exhausting and disheartening.

MH met us in the room with a glass of wine for me and a juice for DD. He’s at an event tonight, but it was good to see him for a minute.
DD and I are grabbing some dinner. I wanted to get White Castle since I’ve never had it, but the front desk agent at the hotel kind of grimaced when I told her. I took it to mean it’s not worth it, so we’re getting Italian instead.

Is it good? which recipe did you use if it is? Or I'll be lazy and go to the place by my house and have them make them. |

Apparently, I don’t do it the way other people I know do it, like my sister and DH, but it worked so 🤷♀️ |

Same, we have a Southwest card that we use for just about everything, and also an Alaska card. But you can also just sign up for their program and enter your mileage number when you take flights. For that you need to take actual fights to earn miles. |
