I am the weird one and maybe it’s a UO/FFFC but give me all the scans. PAIF brain is no joke and I love seeing baby as much as they will allow. It gives me anxiety the day of the appointment because of the “what if’s” but I love the reassurance. With my first I had quite a few scans in weeks 5-12 due to it being a FET. Then the AS scan and weekly starting at 32 weeks due to GD. This time I have had a dating/placement ultrasound at 6.5 weeks followed by an US at 10 and 14 weeks due to SCH. Likely will have the AS scan again and then weekly scans after 30ish weeks if GD again. My previous pregnancy ended in a MMC, so I am in this boat right now. I just need confirmation that baby is still alive in there, because last time I carried around one that wasn't for over a month and had no idea. Obviously we all have different experiences with IF/loss/etc that bring very different feelings to the table on this, but, for me, I'll take all the reassurance that baby has a heartbeat that I can get.

Just because there’s a “risk” doesn’t mean it’s a huge one or that it’s going to happen. And I do take mine in the morning and then have to wait the dreaded hour before food. Hang in there. Thank you so much for the positivity. And it is helpful to hear anecdotes. 💕 Blech, everyone says wait an hour to eat but my paperwork said at least 2, ideally 4 hours. So that’s what I’ve been going with and why I’ve been doing it middle of the night. There is no way I’m waiting until 10 AM to eat, lol! Nauseated, hangry pregnant lady/cranky mom is not AGL on me.

Take this with a grain of salt, but DH only has to wait 30 minutes (he has hashi’s) and DS doesn’t have to wait at all 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️

It’s way different when you sit there scan after scan, watching percentiles drop 7-10% each time with no known reason. So, no, it’s not a good thing I can understand if you didn’t have a positive experience that it would change your feelings. For me it was a good thing but for you I see it wasn’t.

That’s not my situation (I mean the wait time, I have Hashimoto’s too), cmb, but I’m glad it’s not an issue for your family!

I went through a MMC to so I totally understand this. It's why I check the hb every day with my Doppler right now. Gives me so much piece of mind.

I have hypothyroidism too and didn't found out until my 9 week appointment with DS1. I take mine in the morning. I usually wait an hour to eat, but don't wait any length of time for coffee lol

I really need to go buy some maternity clothes. My sister and I have swapped maternity stuff and between 2 people and 4 babies the are looking rough.

So I totally thought my baby bump was coming in but after two days of a stomach bug, I have like no bump now. Guess it was a lot more bloat than anything. Well, at least I can put off buying maternity clothes for a little while still??

I'm guessing my uterus sits back or something because it's the only thing that makes sense.

This is is going to sound strange, but this has happened every time to me until I “popped.” The level of bloat changes daily until then 🤷🏼♀️

PSA: Baby Tula is having a sale today. Has anyone here compared the Coast version to the non-Coast? I'm wondering if it's significantly cooler. I like a print better in non-Coast.

I'm almost 19 weeks and still just dealing with a blump right now. I'm still in all my normal clothes. It took a long time with my first but I expected it to be different this time. Between barely showing and having an anterior placenta, I barely feel pregnant lately. I guess that's a good thing? lol

I figured it would be more than a blump at this point. But yeah, I think we'll miss this when third trimester hits!

Jac decided to give me heartburn today. It’s too early for this shit! I started getting heartburn when I was like barely pregnant. I was NO this isn't fair and it doesn't make any sense. My body is an asshole and just decided to "remember" I guess. It's so freaking bad now. Only good thing is it's an excuse for milkshakes again.

I started buying things for the nursery this week. Target has a deal where you get a $40 gift card if you spend $250 on baby furniture. The crib I wanted was on sale but I've just been waiting before I ordered. Then I checked Wayfair during their Wayday thing and it was even cheaper on there. Then for fun I checked Amazon and it was EVEN less so I went ahead and ordered it. The dresser I want still gets me over $250 at Target so I can still get the gift card and use that towards a mattress or bassinet.
Also got a changing pad cover, sheets and a playmat that goes with my theme.

It's wildflowers in various colors. I was originally thinking coral, aqua and gold but the items I bought are much more pink. I'll probably just roll with it. www.target.com/p/floral-fields-nursery-room-/-/A-52204395ETA- I also have some prints and other decorative things saved on Etsy. I'm most excited about a canvas project that a fellow N16er was selling for a fundraiser. It has a cute quote on it and my son will get to paint it as a gift for his little sister.

Between barely showing and having an anterior placenta, I barely feel pregnant lately. I guess that's a good thing? lol I wasn't noticeably pregnant until around 24 weeks with my first. Granted I am not skinny so there was belly fluff to hide it. I'm 15 weeks tomorrow and still not obviously pregnant. Just blumpy. We'll see what the next few weeks bring. I can still wear all my normal clothes, but my jeans slip down (because I've lost a few pounds and the blump is right where they hit) so I switched to maternity jeans this week just so they'll stay up!

I think I look noticeably pregnant at almost 19w, but then I've had people ask me where my bump is so I have no idea lol. I remember I didn't pop with #2 until 23-24w.

I am enormous at almost 15w. People have already asked if I have more than one in there. I think I'll finally give up and switch to maternity clothes.
