I got an email about my NIPT results being available but I don’t want to look in case it shows the sex since we aren’t finding that out. So I guess I’ll wait for either a phone call or my next appt.

It does say it right in the front page, so don't open! How is it April already?

They don’t say if it’s low risk on the page before opening? Natera (panorama) says it on the main page with no other data. To see the actual report, you click on it and it gives a warning that sex will be revealed

My endo uses them too and I believe the numbers are usually right there without clicking on anything. I’m fine with waiting til my next appt. I hate calling people lol.

So I did sne.ak pe.ek this weekend (I feel the need to defend my decision because it seems ridiculous to me so anyway, my older sister is an OBGYN and thinks it a valid test).
Team blue! 3 boys, heaven help me when they are all in high school and I have to figure out how to feed them!

So many people finding out the sex early!!! Anyone waiting until 20 weeks??? I feel so behind! Lol As of now, I'm with you! We've been going back and forth on scheduling and elective scan to find out the sex within the next few weeks but partially, to help us plan our house hunting (to see how we'd room the kids!). My Dr office doesn't do a/s until at least 21 weeks so if we end up waiting, it won't be for at least 2 more months.

We started cleaning out the baby room and also putting some stuff in there. Not really to prepare for baby but more so because I needed stuff ether put away (unpacking) or in different rooms. We will likely not get the nursery ready until month 8 because realistically baby will sleep in our room for the first year so it’s all just for looks anyways.

I could use your prayers/good vibes. As you know I’ve had intermittent spotting and was just checked yesterday with an exam and ultrasound and everything looked great so I thought the worst was over. Well this evening I spotted red. Just a scant amount but I have a slight crampy twinge in my side and I am freaking out. I called the after hours and they said if it turns to bleeding to go to the ER or otherwise call for an appt tomorrow morning. Wtf guys. I am just so upset and worried right now.

Spotting is so scary. Anecdotal but I spotted on and off until probably 20 weeks with DS. Blood tinged mucus a couple times a week. I had a SCH that eventually went away and they suspected it had something to do with that. An exam (if internal) could also cause some spotting. Drink some water and lie down and rest, praying it goes away and stays away!

This happened 24 hours later though..do you think it could still be from that? I’m just so defeated because I was super reassured yesterday when they couldn’t even find this SCH and now today I am like a mess.

I finally have my first appointment with my midwife tomorrow!!!!! No ultrasound (she will probably give me a requisition, they don’t do them in office) so keeping all the things crossed we can hear a heartbeat on Doppler. I’ll be about 10.5-11 weeks (still no confirmed due date) but we couldn’t find it around that time with DS (who clearly was just fine) so I’m hoping we can! It would definitely ease my post loss brain and make me more willing to tell a couple more people. Right now only my parents and sister know. If I had a loss they would know that too. But I don’t want to tell my ILs because we had to tell them about my first loss and it was so awkward and uncomfortable and I hated it. They only found out we had a second loss at DS’s baby dedication when he was 7 months old

I remember spotting the evening of and still the next morning after an internal ultrasound so I’d think it’s possible! And the spotting I had also continued when the SCH was showing as gone/reabsorbed but they thought the blood could still be in the system somewhere (or something like that). I really have no idea but I hope that everything turns out ok!

I spotted with DD a few times in the first trimester and it was attributed to mild inflammation in my cervix. Fingers crossed it was just exam.

When I had my pap a few weeks ago, my doctor told me not to freak out if I saw blood over the next 24 hours so hopefully it’s just that.

moonandback141 I hope you can get answers on the spotting. I tend to think it was the internal exam, but definitely a mindfuck and unsettling. doodlemommy That sucks that they don't do an ultrasound. Hoping your appointment goes well.
