Also, hello. I worked out this morning, but since then I have been completely lazy. H is clearing out the garage , and I need to put some things away, but I’m parked on the couch currently. DD2 is taking a nice long nap. We are both getting sick so I think we need extra rest. We had several really busy weekends in a row and it is nice not doing anything!
H and I have a date night tonight, so that will be fun! We are trying an Italian dim sum type place. 🤤

I’m on my couch with coffee and a heating pad. I must be doing something funky when I run because my lower back is sore. My right ovary kind or hurts too, though, so maybe it’s my endo acting up. Either way, the heating pad feels good.
It’s been a typical busy Saturday with my long run and grocery shopping. I stopped to get some wine too, so I’m looking forward to that later. E is napping, but I probably shouldn’t let her sleep much past 4:00 to keep bed time normal.

thatgolfb, Italian dim sum? 🤷 Interesting! As a side note, we really need to find a babysitter. Enjoy your wine later bethkate, I think that helps sore backs too. I'm just relaxing for a bit while DD naps, trying to decide if I want to do something useful or not. We had a playdate this morning and my friend taught the kids baby yoga. It was really cute! DD mostly just watched, but she liked it. I think it they end up doing it regularly the kids will get the hang of it really quickly.

Any good airport/travel tips? C will be 16 months when we go to Florida in a few weeks. We’ll need a stroller - a small umbrella stroller should be sufficient- can those be gate checked so we can use it in the airport? Yes!

thatgolfb they say "hello, I'm yellow" or whatever color they are when you press their bellies. And he is obsessed with pressing buttons. He doesnt recognize colors unless you ask specifically about the color crew. Still impressive, yet I can take zero credit 😂 Also, Italian dim sum? Sounds good!

cdnfarmgirl C doesn’t talk much yet either. Just “mama” and sometimes he’ll say “nack” for snack. He can sign all done, more, and please. But he mostly still screeches or talks gibberish. Ya we get a lot of screeches. I try signing. He hasn’t picked up on any yet. 🤷♀️ I remember being paranoid with my other too and always asking my Speech and Language Pathologist at school. And she always reassured me everything was fine. And she was right. It’s just frustrating when he clearly wants something and will just screech and we don’t know what he wants.

I'm trying to get things prepared for when we lose power. Have the heat up to 77 right now to keep it as warm as possible for the night, so I'm sweating my balls off.
Just found out my stepsister is pregnant. This will be my first niece or nephew. They live in TX so I wont ever see em but still very excited!

We stuck with the ergo at that age with just DD because we didn’t need an umbrella at the destination. Last flight in dec, we brought our folding wagon for both kids and gate checked it.

Hello all. Dh had a pretty terrible week so he was in a bad mood yesterday and we predictably didn’t send the kids to ILs. We went on a hike to a waterfall yesterday morning which was the first time DD walked alone. She scaled rocks well. The dog was actually the biggest PITA.
Today I have all the laundry to do. I’m bummed because I checked all of my family diapers last night and two of a one brand are coming delaminated and I’m so bummed to likely lose them from our rotation. 1) they are cute, 2) I don’t want to spend more $ and was hoping our stash would last through the second kid.

DS loves gasping and it’s so funny. It reminds me of this with a huge audible gasp! 🤣

Morning!
Took the kids swimming at a hotel last night, the regular pool was freezing so the older kids just stuck their legs in the hot tub.
We got probably a foot of snow and now it's super windy. I'm either going to leave my sister's after supper or early tomorrow morning.

We're getting crazy wind tonight too but we have under ground utilies so I hope we don't lose power.

No idea why I ever strayed from American Eagle jeans. I never will again lol. I got one pair of the rockstar jeans from old Navy about 6 weeks ago and they are falling off me because I lost weight. I was like scared to see what size I'd be at AE but was pleasantly surprised. The only part that was annoying is how many of their jeans have holes in them already. I'm officially old.

Which is soooo freaking annoying. So many crop tops. I actually looked on American Eagle online the other day to shop for an upcoming trip and there were barely any regular length shirts.

The weather is crazy here too. There was actually a really bad accident on the highway right near my town - 100 cars piled up, many hurt, 1 person passed away so far. Kind of freaky because we were driving about 5 miles north on the same highway when the accident happened.
