Drowning here, too. We were out of town SO MUCH. We took five trips in a six week period of time, then came home to my ILs visiting. Exercise is habitual in my normal life but travel means I have to work for it, and the sprained ankle means hiking and running (my go to travel exercise) was off the table. I completely gave up on trying for the LP at some point because I felt like I couldn't think of one more thing. My ILs leave today and I dragged myself out of bed for a 6am workout, so exercise and mobility are done. I'm going to dig my planner out today and re-sync my life. I'm also committing to a 30 day no drinking, completely compliant detox to get my system back in order. I had been thinking I might sit September out, but now I think I really want to do it. I hope to get in a good routine before the holidays and winter weight start happening.Haul my ass in here for September please. I mean it. You'll get back on track; you always do. Summer, vacations, and injuries can be such roadblocks. That's why routine is sooo important and why I hate that I struggle with it. Welcome to my life, where each day is never the same. I really admire those who are routined and able to stick to it the majority of time. I'm also learning to accept my personality and work with it rather than just give up. It was easier before DS because I could just do whatever, whenever, but that's gone for the next several years. :-D

GhoatMonket , you are kicking ass and taking names. Congrats. Question: Is there a True Nutrition powder you can recommend? I just want it as a supplement, not necessarily to lose weight (although that'd be great), so I was thinking the weight loss one just coz, but if there's a better one for overall health, I'd do that. Do you recommend any supplements from them too? ETA- any suggested flavors better than others? Or do you do unsweetened? I'll probably put it with my fruit serving as a smoothie anyway.

I was going to start a thread because I don't really go here at the mo, except, you guys will never be rid of me, and I wanted to share an update with those who have "known" me for the last couple of years in the WLC and health threads.

Anyway, WAY TL; DR: B12 injection has helped me a lot- so far (and I hope it lasts)- and I need a recipe to make grass-fed beef liver delicious (if that's even possible) please.

I went to the obgyn yesterday to get an IUD. They weighed me and I'm down four lbs below my pre-pregnancy weight (18 lbs lost in 3 months). Weight loss wasn't my main motivator for joining the challenging, but I'm pretty darn excited about it!

That is the one I use. I use Competitive Lean because it's basically just protein and minimal carbs/fats. I stick to chocolate because I drink it plain. You can order samples of the flavors so you aren't stuck with a 1lb of something you hate.

Emmentaler, I missed the poof but I have pernicious anemia and the B12 injections make a huge difference for me, I'm glad you are seeing results!

Maybe you guys saw the Noom thread, but I'm going to try it. I'm doing the two week free trial and will report back. If it goes well, I plan to do the 16 week boot camp option. I've looked ahead at the weeks and the focus for each week, and it looks interesting- sleep and mindfulness are two of the later focuses. I requested that nutrition be my initial focus because I know I've been slacking there and I need to change that to lose weight.
Anyway, you guys are welcome to join us or come check out the thread or whatever. 💕

someone here gave me the link to a cauliflower rice dish (made with onion and broth) a while back. It was so delicious and I didn't save the damn thing!! I can't find anything like it now. Any ideas?

CestLaVie, we had a team called Parenting. I'm not sure if a new team for the next round has been created yet. But basically, we use their site for scoring and the mandatory daily reflections, but then used a thread on here for more health/ challenge related discussion.

I think I am going to sit this one out, but I'm happy to provide any support I can. If anyone is willing to captain the team, WLC sends you all kinds of resources and tips, they basically guide you through it.
An official team has to be run by a business, like a gym, or a corporate office. An unofficial team is any team that isn't affiliated with a business.

If you guys don't want a team or no one wants to captain or you feel like you don't have enough players, WLC has an open team that anyone can join, and you guys could make a thread here or join the Noom thread.
The Noom thread is no longer just Noomers, it's just the main daily support thread for healthy lifestyles and weight loss. We merged together, and it's fairly active.
