Today is my birthday and I plan to spend some points on cake tonight! I did plan a compliant dinner (chipotle pork tacos with cole slaw and sweet potato fries), so yay me?

My weight at the OB was a little higher than I would have liked, but not awful. I have the GTT in three weeks, and I'm hoping that WLC eating will mean it's NBD.

I want to hear from you about what is working and what isn't working for you! I'm having mixed feelings about this first week. I haven't done as well with the nutrition component as I would have liked. But I'm doing so well with hydration. I'm usually the worst about drinking water, but that Component has defiiitely improved.

I'm doing better than I imagined with the nutrition and am feeling confident in all the other categories, but I still have this nagging feeling that I am not strong enough to keep it up. I think I may actually keep up the journaling so I can continue to give myself "you are worthy and able" pep talks. Man the mind fucks with you. I am excited to step on the scale on Saturday.

Self talk is really interesting if you can observe it and not take it at face value. You are strong enough but then again...making choices that don't align with challenge rules does not mean you are not strong, it means you have free will. Glad the journaling is working for you! I am so interested to see what else you learn!

Wanted to say hi. So far the challenge is going pretty well. I'm making exercise a priority even on busy days and so far it's been okay. I didn't believe that would be the case so that's great.

I am blaming my new preworkout (which was samples and I have one left for Saturday so that will be done). I need to get back to my supplements too. I'm glad journaling is almost done. I know I can do others, but I do want to try even the ones I don't like.
